That’s cool how the pillsbury dough boy’s design hasn’t changed much since then
That’s because he is without flaw
@@CRFDMac11we don’t deserve him
I’m surprised he hasn’t changed over the years like many Americans have…you know, gotten fatter.
The Pillsbury dough boy is such a great meme, he deserves a lot more attention than he gets. Seriously.
I agree
Me too 😀
that one meme that overexplains “I pooped the bed and I need milk”
Never once have I seen legitimate non-boomer memes about him
His name is poppin fresh
Awwww when she gave him a kiss, that was so cute
0:49 so cute when pillsbury blushes.
IKR!! And when he laughs, too. So cute!
It might have been hard to believe that Paul Frees, God rest his soul, was the original Pillsbury Doughboy voice, but he was. He and Mel Blanc, God rest his soul, had such powerful multi-voices for all of the work they did. It was incredible!
And also the voice of Toucan Sam before Maurice Lemarshe took over.
Wasn't Paul Frees the same voice actor of the Fantastic Four's original Ben Grimm/a.k.a. The Thing in the famous children's marvel 1967 tv series????????? "It's Clobberin' Time!"
@@davidwolfe4240 Yes, he was.Paul Frees was also Fluid Man on Frankenstein Jr and The Impossibles. Frees was one of the busiest voice actors of that era.
Hey, how about that? I am surprised. Man, Frees could do anything (The Bullwinkle Show! Falcon commercials!), but a singing doughboy? Sweet!
I confess, in a few lines I thought I was hearing character actor Jesse White.
That's future "Brady Bunch" star Maureen McCormick baking cookies with the Pillsbury Doughboy (aka Poppin' Fresh Dough)
in this cute ad from 1966.
Sure Jan....🙄
I recognized Marsha from Brady Bunch and in those shows she was about 14 or 15 and in this video she was about 8 or 9.
Not gonna lie this commercial is so adorable as hell I almost DIED!!!!!
Pillsbury Doughboy commercial had started in the 60s. Very, very old, but adorable!
0:49 so he's literally made of dough, he got kissed and turned red. I don't about you but I think that his head literally turned to bread afterwords
I was gonna say a buttered roll but close enough
This is a 1966 Pillsbury commercial, three years before the Brady Bunch premiered and eight years before the show ended.
okay
I thought that looked like Marcia Brady
@@CJinsoo Marcia Marcia Marcia! Lol
Maureen McCormick was soo adorable, I love her 😍
Kenny McCormick
@@liamrossenriquez3350no way, stupid.
her hand..other than that, doughboy is soooo adorable
Yes he is overloads of cuteness 😆😆😆❤❤❤
Serene To ... IKR!!??😂
Yes, it was Paul Frees (Voice of Bullwinkle's arch enemy, Boris Badenov) who did a series of early Pillsbury commercials in the mid 1960s as the voice of the Pillsbury Doughboy, better known as Poppin' Fresh, just like this ad starring Maureen McCormick who later went on to play Marcia Brady in ABC's 1969-1974 series, "THE BRADY BUNCH".
Excellent Paul Frees information!
Yes nice Michael (J ;)
He is underrated. One of my teachers got him confused with the stay puft marshmallow man
Ha! As far as I know, the Doughboy has never terrorized Manhattan.
@@RobertCass ehhhh, somebody will have edited it
ooph that's almost as bad as mistaking him with the Mechelin man
@@schrodingerscat3912 yeah
OMG! Marcia Brady in a commercial with the Pillsbury Doughboy! Only Marcia Marcia Marcia!!!!
Marcia Brady!!! Love it!
Omg look how little Marcia Brady was 🥺
Pillsbury Doughboy Is An Adorable Icon For Pillsbury

I didn't know the Brady bunch girl did commercials for Pillsbury that's a first for me to see
0:25 a song to sing while washing your hands to prevent the coronavirus
I never knew as a kid that he was a stop motion character at one time. I always knew him as CGI.
brony simpson Evolved son
@reboot things WHYYYYYYYYYY
Doesnt that say something about society?
He's so cute!
Azumarill_TF2 agreed
Marcia Marcia Marcia was adorable before Brady bunch
So nice to see, this is so awesome.
Aww, that’s Marcia Brady! How adorable! 🥰
A young Maureen McCormick sure was a cutie. She's adorable at her young age, prior to her role of Marcia Brady on 'The Brady Bunch.' 🥰😍
Especially when she gave the Pillsbury Doughboy a kiss 💋 on his cheek and he’s blushing 😊.
What a sweet and pretty little girl
That's Maureen McCormick. Marcia Brady from The Brady Bunch.
Why does MARCIA get all the cookies? Why does MARCIA get to play with the Pillsbury doughboy? Why does MARCIA get to do these things? *MARCIA MARCIA MARCIA*
Those cookies look delicious even now.
Marcia!Marcia!Marcia!
Oh why doesn't he visit my home
same xD
He’s not real. This is all CGI.
@@karltheicelandicpenguinutt160 the same goes for Squirtles and passion fruit flavored Gatorade.
@The 99% No I'm not. I just told him the doughboy is not real.
The 99% Oh sorry
"Brady Brunch"!!!!
I Love Chocolate Chip Cookies
Damn that animation is good
Human beings are the only species that blushes....or needs to. Mark Twain
I like that little girl kisses at him
That's so sweet!
Pov, the Pillsbury dough boy opens the portal to hell to summon chocolate chip cookie dough.
As far as portals to hell go, could be worse.
I love this video.
God those cookies look delicious
He is so cute!
"Hey, those are chocolate chip cookies. My favorite~." (This is then called a "cue") "While they're cooling, let's sing a song." - ~song~ ...a warm kind-of smell, when you bake in the oven. - "Nothing spells lovin' like something from the oven (!!!!!), and Pillsbury says it, best."
Lol that’s MARSH BRADY LOL 😂
Where's my Pillsbury Doughboy movie Hollywood?!
he's so cute.
the dough boy is so cute. they have to make the poking in a belly at the end at a meme.
The little girl in this commercial is an old woman now.
That’s dope my guy
I fucking love this commercial
I think that's a very young Maureen McKormick (Brady Bunch)!
0:49 The Doughboy Blushing
Sooooo cute!!💕
Only in America! Ads and products like these made me wish I could live there when I was a kid! Dammit, I still wish it to be honest, just to get these products! Sigh! 💔 xx
Where did you grow up, Gilly?
@@RobertCass hi babe, I grew up (happily) in Liverpool , England in the 1960's. But I was always in love with America after seeing great TV programmes etc. I had near misses of visiting the U.S all my life, but it was never to be. All too late now, but never mind xx
@@gillyjames9609 Never too late, because you never know! I recently worked with someone in Chicago who was born and raised in Liverpool, and now he's headed back to the UK. He said his family cheered for Everton in football when he was growing up, which meant no ketchup in the house because ketchup is red, not blue!
@@RobertCass tut! tut! you said the E word! Let's just say I'm glad my blood is red! Us reds supporters don't care for 'blue noses'. But if he is Liverpool born he can only be of good stock.... so he can come back if he likes!
I'm going to make I'm going to be bilsbury for Halloween
I want him
0:20 Those cookies look good
Marsha Brady loves baking cookies, I see.
Marcia Marcia Marcia!
After reading jthm, I can never look at a doughboy the same again
Originally seen in 1966.
+Barry I. Grauman Thanks! I wasn't sure what year that was from!
You're welcome!
I have funny feeling that Rankin Bass made the Pillsbury doughboy even though that's not true but it would be awesome if that was real 😃☺😀
Any and all Doughboy-related birth-certificate conspiracy theories are welcome here.
My first love...
2022 Anyone???
There was a commercial in color in the '60s??
Uh, yeah, it wasn't that long ago. "I Dream Of Jeannie," "Gilligan's Island," "Batman," "Bewitched."
Duh
You sound like an airhead because of that statement
Well, color first appeared since late 1969 and early 1970 after all
งดครจ
Aww How Sweet
Cool
You did this to me Betty!
I thought the premade dough tube pwas an invention of the 1990s. I was so wrong
Nothin' says lovin' like a bun in the oven.
Oh... He uh.. burnt his face with a kiss
Word!
This is so funny
Ohh so nice
Someone beem me up there that life like in a Black Mirror episode
The cookies looked a little burnt.
Question 🙋♀️ please 🙏, the little girl 👧 seen in the 1965 Pillsbury commercial is actually one ☝️ the 6 Brady kids in the classic show The Brady Bunch when she was young?
Yes, Maureen McCormick would've been eight or nine when this commercial was made.
AYYY LMAOOOOOOOO
0:16 mine too
Who else is here afther watching that episode of American Pickers??
Marcia Marcia Marcia
Maureen McCormick
0:49 so.....his head was burnt on fire just because of a kiss?
IS THAT EVEN A THING?!
A lack of color correction from film to videotape to DVD to UA-cam may be to blame. I assure you the Doughboy is blushing, not burning, in this commercial, but because we're talking about him, his ears ARE burning.
I guess that is true
Is that Marcia Brady (Brady Bunch)??
Dough boy dough boy 🏓
Marsha Marsha Marsha!
His laugh was very different back then.
It changes throughout the decades
Is Paul Frees voicing him here ?
You are correct!
The Doughboy Sounds Different
Paul Frees provided the Doughboy's voice back then. He died in 1986. His Associated Press obituary says, "Frees, the voice of Kellogg's 'Toucan Sam' for the past 15 years, also was the voice for many Disneyland and Disney World attractions, including the Haunted House and Pirates of the Caribbean.
"He was the main voice in the animation series 'The Beatles,' 'Jackson Five' and 'The Osmonds.'
"In movies and television shows, Frees dubbed the voices of several acting stars, including Humphrey Bogart and Kirk Douglas.
"He also was the major voice in television specials such as 'The Hobbit,' 'Frosty The Snowman,' 'Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer' and 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.'"

That's Marsha from the Brady Bun!
my mom never bought these. but i had those sliders from white castle. wow the chances! some girl gained 5 pounds from these cookies in her childhood. yikes.
Is the commercial from the mid 60s or the late ⏰ 60s?
It was first shown in 1965, apparently, so mid-'60s.
W/ a young Marcia Brady😌
Was that “Marcia” from the Brady Buubch????????????
Yep!
