Well. Hillclimb is one sport where drivers accept the risk and just go all out. It's like the holy grail of racing history.
Rally, they wanted safety over speed (the drivers). It's boring compared to group b, but at least now legendary driver don't die all the time.
F1, The people who made the engine to the F1 cars have ideological points of view and they threatened to quit F1 if cars didn't become more "environment friendly" etc.
They wanted the world fastest sport to "reflect" some properties of their hybrids on the road.
1: go to youtube. 2: search for vids about cool cars. 3: find one. 4: dislike it?!?!?! this is pure driving/racing. goosebumbs.

As a true fan of the SOUNDS as well as the speeds, I can honestly say that this video delivers VERY well on both. I've never heard of this event before. But I'll never forget it now! If you've got any kind of decent sound system with your TV crank it UP!! Beautiful stuff!! I even liked seeing the speeds posted of each machine as it went screaming by. If you've got more vids like this then you've made a fan outta me!

Gigantisch wie Joel Volluz da die Tankstellenpassage passiert. Hab ihn schon live gesehen. Bewundere seine Risikobereitschaft und seine fahrerisches Können. Danke fürs Hochladen dieser tollen Aufnahmen. Das Bergrennen in St. Ursanne ist meiner Meinung nach die spektakulärste Bergrennstrecke überhaupt.
Big balls to do this. Public roads turned into rally stages with sports cars and open wheeled racers. Pushing those speeds if you have an incident your in big trouble spectators included. Massive respect to all drivers

F1 drivers are the bravest of them all. They have to go so fast in order to keep their 1000+ lbs of downforce; their trust in the car is unmatched...

True, here los of them even hit the fuel cut at redline...and if that average speed is accurate there is little doubt about it, the fastest HC. By the way, U have the best HClimb vids on UA-cam and with the best(most realistic) audio i've seen on car...truly amazing, keep up the good work ;)

Von 6:34-6:58: Man kann sich gar nicht satt sehen und satt hören. Hab selten Aufnahmen gesehen wo die Geschwindigkeit so gut rüberkommt. So eine beeindruckende Darbietung von Joel Volluz.

Das sind sehr unterschiedliche Formelfahrzeuge: Die verschalten sind Osella's Baujahr 2010 oder neuer. Der schmallere rote ist ein GP2 Fahrzeug, auch sehr aktuell. Dann sind da noch die Formel 3000 Autos, die haben Baujahr typischerweise so zwischen 1990 und 2000.
