I remember playing Maria’s chapter in Silent Hill 2. As much isolation as I felt in James’s chapter, this chapter I felt even more isolation. Something so odd, creepy and yet calming. Poor Maria deserved better. The mansion scared me shitless as a child. They truly don’t make games like this anymore. But the music behind this picture, is just pure bliss. Thank you for uploading!

I like to picture these moments like I've gone to the pause menu/loading screen in a game; it's a small break from reality where I get to reflect over where I am and what I strive for. It's very comforting.
Everyday it seems like my outside world becomes more inclosed. It feels like everyone is against me. But this, it tells me I'm still here, almost like reseting the clock of my sanity.
