The real reason behind indians being good at math is we are accustomed to do with what we have and have to solve whatever comes our way with the only thing that we truly can depend on .. Our mind.. Saving every rupee for our future, managing expenses with a low income, always searching for the most value for money and mostly having to take care of a family on just 1 salary. Its this struggle that forces us to think out of the box, have value for money and be inventive... Mind boggling
@@niks1298 Religion and culture has lot to do with our thinking process, in India early centuries BC 300 onwards based on available historic deta, Astronomy / Astrology (Jyothish) were very important subjects, My grandfather never went to school only able to read His mother Tongue malayalam, but he used to explain me hour (Hora) one day is 60 Nazhika, 1 nazhika = 60 vinazhika, 8 divisions of an inch, 12 inch = 1 ft, 3 ft = 1 yard , one Ahorathram = 8 yaamam etc.., 27 days a moon cycle, 12 years a Jupiter cycle 30 years a saturn cycle etc..., Early sky observatory where in Ujjayini and Takshashila , In Hindu vedic Astrology Lagna = Ascending, it is calculated to vinazhika, 1 vinazhika = 2.4 minutes , calculations of Mahadasha divisions at the birth time, one need to calculate local mean sunrise time and local birth time, and positions of all planets and Sun in Baga and Kala 1 kala = 1digree, 60 kala = 1 baga, all these are Religiously and Culturally very important, for matching Kundly for marriage and many other functions. Now a days we use computer for all these calculations, when I was in the high school my grandfather explained me based on the local area based on your shadow counting by your foot for a year around, particular time morning and evening and noon, the farmers used to do it too. They practised throwing a bunch of stones up and count it. In Ayurveda also very much Analytical studies involved, 2 zeros are not equal 0/0 is not 1 this is a celestial thinking of early Hindu philosophy "0" is called maha shunyata. which is equilibrium of more than one forces. In vedic ? Hindu thinking, Analytical Math was already involved. Greek Philosopher Pythagoras was known in India as Yavana Acharya, Greeks and Russians were also great Mathematicians. The value of Pi was known to 7th decimal point in india in the 1st century. I studied Astrology Vedic and Western too. Vedic Astrology math calculation are very important, These are part of religious and Cultural importance too.
@@pollayilalex that was some great knowledge.... These days we tend to get attracted towards western lifestyle that we are forgetting about our own culture and knowledge that our ancestors had.

Answering the square root and cube roots are basic things which we always do in India in most school .
And I feel like everyone is very competitive and always aim to score high in school when it comes to academic
Idk what people of other countries think of us but i m really very proud to be an indian. i never regret why i was born in India. India is smth different i mean its different from other countries in so many ways. I love India
Finally I found a reason to thank my school teacher for not allowing calculators 🙏🙏😂😂 but the true fact is most of the Indians say they are bad at math when they're asked about it but their brain knows it all😂😂

The reason is that the teachers at primary levels are very strict about learning tables and stuff.
They'd whoop you up if you don't remember the multiplication tables squares and roots.
Corporal punishment is quite common.
You will be humilated in front of whole class by the teacher if you don't remember the tables/squares.
Using calculators in most of the exams is considered cheating.
I dont think my teachers ever hit me but they humiliated me a lot
@@priyankasen3044 😅 same here but they hit me too😭
As a person who didn't use calculators i am proud
2:30 I agree with this guy that if our relatives come to our house the only subject they know is maths and science and instead of asking about how we are doing they how much u scored last time in maths and science ( sometimes I fell like do they even know that besides maths and science other subjects too exist)😅😅😂😂
If someone is gonna stop me and ask like some questions about maths.... I'm gonna run outta that hell away😂
Indi....I would love to see you go out and quiz American people on math problems
Woah when they said they gonna ask question ,I was afraid that they would ask differentiation , integration or a question with full of alphabets ,but damn they asked squares and roots which are fed with spoon from higher school 😂😂🤣🤣
