Three Easy Steps to Create Mating Relationships in SOLIDWORKS Composer

SOLIDWORKS Composer doesn't support mates in the same way SOLIDWORKS does, and SOLIDWORKS mates are not transferred to Composer during importing. Mating relationships between actors must be re-created in Composer.
Kinematic transforms can be used to mimic SOLIDWORKS mates; this type of transform creates parent/child links and pivot alignments between actors.
