Description
Lot #1282 - This rust-free 1967 Shelby GT500 is finished in its original color of Brittany Blue Metallic over a black deluxe comfort-weave interior and is powered by a 428ci V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission. This fairly early production GT500 sports the inboard headlights, Magstar wheels and functional brake scoops. This car was sold new in Costa Mesa, CA, and remained there most of its life. It underwent a comprehensive ground-up restoration in 1997 and has been well-maintained ever since. The car still retains its original sheet metal and fiberglass, as well as its original wood steering wheel, green line gauges, S7MS air cleaner assembly, correct C5AF-E distributor, date-correct BJ/BK carbs, C7ZX medium-riser aluminum intake and original smog/emission system. The car has been upgraded with white Le Mans stripes and radial tires. This Shelby comes with a Deluxe Marti Report and copies of all documentation available from '67 Shelby registrar Dave Mathews.
Beautiful Mustang and color. Thank you very much.
Beautiful color & car , always loved the beautifully crafted wood steering wheel on the 67's , while the poor 68's got a stock mustang wheel with a Shelby pad
Flawless car and show great too. Thanks Rich
Wow. Nice. In 53 years I hope my 08 gt500 is worth that. Lol
So beautiful!
Lovely couple, they did pretty well it seems
Doesn’t make sense a 65 sells for $962 now this inboard light 67 good color combo GT 500 only gets $165 WTF
Well that 65 was dripping with provinance. The '67 was an automatic and I don't believe was sporting its orginal motor still. The market for the 65 GT350's has exploded of late.
I wanna see the 71.
Given what everything else was selling for this one seems somewhat of a bargain.
