I think there's certianly potential behind a movie about rollercoaster designers. It can either be a clever comedy on par with "Thank you for Smoking", exploring this dilemma if said designers are really responsible for theme park accidents or people vomiting on the ride, or a compelling story about a designer having a dare-devil drive so unhealthy everything he/she does needs to be related to eye-turning stunts
You might want to check out action point, it's based on the real action park and stars Johnny Knoxville.
I feel like there's potential for some sort of crime/noir-esque story about a new roller coaster that breaks apart and leads to a bunch of deaths, the designer is falsely accused and now has to hunt down the real culprit who sabotaged it.
Ever played Roller Coaster Tycoon?
Four words: rollercoaster tycoon movie
@@herusolares5320 That'd be cool!
When you think about it, Superman’s nail clipper would at least have to be amazingly strong in order to cut his nails. I mean, it’s probably not enough to base a movie around, but I could see a wacky, one-shot comic written around the idea. It’s a heck of a lot more than anyone with Bobbleheads, at least.
Kal El had to craft the nail clippers from shards of his spaceship using his heat vision to sharpen them.
The nail clippers are infused with kryptonite.
No it's too original and has too little Batman in it, so they would never do that in the comics. Now if it was Batmans Nailclipper then they'd be all over that idea. I'm joking of course

The film was produced by the director of Foodfight, which pretty much explains everything.
"Ok, so here's the pitch... It's Toy Story, but with Bobbleheads!"
"Sir, no one has been interested in Bobbleheads since... Well, the invention of Bobbleheads"
"If you animate it, I'll let you put in that Evangelion chick you have plastered all over your desk"
"... Deal!"
Imagine if we actually got Rei's messed up character in this. Now that would've been a whole lot diffrent movie lol
Remember kids, always be yourself and accomplish your goals.
But if you go out of your way to make a movie about BobbleHeads, you have to rethink your life
Oh, God! Lawrence Kasanoff was involved with this garbage dump. Don't know him? Well, he produced such bangers as "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation", while also directing the "Mortal Kombat Live Tour" and "Foodfight!" (the latter of which he also wrote). Now, it all makes sense!
Could the No FATALITIES joke be a nod to that?
At least he had a one-hit wonder with Mortal Kombat(1995) and served as executive producer on the 2021 reboot.
@@McCraeTheMediaLover Plus, he did help create the production company Lightstorm Entertainment with James Cameron. He was even an Executive Producer for True Lies.
Oh my goodness, I completely forgot this movie was a thing. I remember when the trailer briefly went viral for all the wrong reasons (most notably, people debating whether it was a real trailer for a real movie or just a well made troll or parody...) but then it completely fell off my radar when ... other things in 2020 started taking up people's attention.
I had no idea this existed until now, just when I thought it wasn't possible for 2020 to hurt us more than it already did.
Also, in defence of Luke Wilson - he's been a lead on Stargirl for the last two years. I'd highly recommend watching it, it's one of the best superhero shows on TV right now.
It makes me sad knowing that same exact director who directed, “Beauty and The Beast.” (1991) made this monstrosity of this movie.
What
As Doug said it’s likely the guy needed a pay check or the script was already pre-written and he just had to go along with it
@@DarkKnightofAnime Or, when he did Beauty and the Beast, he had an entire team of talented writers, producers, editors and animators to focus his efforts into making the best movie they could, and he could have had free reign on Bobbleheads to put all of his terrible ideas into it with no one to tell him no. Kind of like how George Lucas had to be told no and be reined in constantly when making the original Star Wars and most of his bad ideas got taken out but then he was given more freedom for the prequels and they were ... not good.
And it was produced by the guy who directed Food Fight.
Greg Wise probably did this because he needed to pay a speeding ticket or something
I REFUSE to believe this was actually approved by Universal at all to be sold, this had to be like some kind of lost footage film like the original version of Foodfight, and the actual Universal wanted this gone as fast as possible but because it was 2020 at that time it must've been stolen, hacked, anything and sold for a quick buck by the culprits who stole it.
My guess is that it was meant to be some sort of tax writeoff and supposed to be cancelled but with all the other things that were distracting people in 2020, the order to actually stop the production and release got lost or forgotten and it slipped through the cracks amidst all the fear, confusion and chaos of lockdowns, working from home, and so on.
It must have been greenlit on a dare. The actors were probably thinking easy paycheque because they needed to pay something off.
@@Dargonhuman you are sort of right.
Basically SAG requires you to act on screen for X hours every so often or you lose your benefits.
@@almightyk11 I didn't know that, but that does go a LONG way to explaining some of the more questionable movies that have come out over the decades.
I believe you could also see a logo for not an animation studio, but an animation software after the Universal logo. So this was essentially a tech demo for this software that somehow got released upon the unsuspecting world
I was wondering why this review looked so short. After watching it, I understand. This film is 90 minutes of absolute nothing. The fact that you came up with any material for a video is just raw talent on your part!
