As a child, I loved watching films and shows about witches (Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Little Witch Acadamia, Harry Potter, Kiki's Delivery Service, Halloweentown were my jam). Unfortunately, I'm not able to perform any magic so I'm excited to live my magical life through these upcoming games lol

Wytchwood is a beautiful game released last year that seems to be largely overlooked. Good story, addictive and absolutely gorgeous. It is a bit short but I could see myself playing this over and over again.
I've seen a couple of videos about it! Havent had a chance to try it out myself but the art looks amazing! Thank for sharing!
I just finished Wytchwood, spent like 11 hours playing it and I absolutely loved it. Not super hard but not boring, and highly addictive. Super cute and the story was awesome. Definitely recommend 💕💕💕

I want to see a Stardew style game, kinda like Little Witch in the Woods, but where you are an "evil" Hag kind of witch, or at least the option to be one. Trying to keep up appearances in town as the "old crazy lady" while secretly luring victims to their doom, cursing scorned lovers and destroying the crops of those who wronged you but still having an overall tongue and cheek feel to the game. Seems every witch game has a Harry Potter/Magic Academy/Good Witch vibe to it. I wanna see someone bring it back to some old folklore, Brothers Grimm, Baba Yaga vibes. Graveyard Keeper but you're a witch.
Maybe you'd like Cult of the Lamb! You can't be a witch but you get to be a cult leader and there's some farming elements as well.

So this comment is almost two weeks after this video came out, and I've been playing Little Witch in the Woods on Steam. It is an adorable game, quite pleasant to look at. I'm still fairly early into the gameplay so I haven't seen anything about befriending cats, but I've only played for about 6 hours, and my progress may only amount to roughly 2 hours as far as the story goes since I spend a lot of time gathering ingredients and exploring the map.
This game still has bugs to work out of course, but for the most part it's fairly easy to play regardless. I'll also mention that if you're playing with a keyboard you may have a little more difficult of a time utilizing the mechanics as opposed to playing on a controller, but you'll get used to it. I'll also give fair warning that there is a LOT of dialogue that can feel tedious to get through, I'd say they don't need around 40% of all of it.
As of now I'd rate the game about a 6/10, that of course will change as more patches and content come out I imagine so don't overlook it.

I haven't gotten around to playing it yet because I've been so busy the last couple of weeks but yeah I'm definitely a little disappointed they haven't added the befriending cats feature yet lol. I did hear they'll be adding that feature in future patches to the game though so I have that to look forward to haha!
I just downloaded it and couldn’t play it for more than half an hour because it was so slow and buggy on my computer. I couldn’t do any precise movements and would hit the down key three times before she would move down. I’m hoping that it was just a problem with my comforter and not the game, but I didn’t even feel like I could explore (something I love to do in games) because it was lagging so much
2:01 oh my goodness it's an older Steven Universe! The artwork in general reminds me of the show, too! Like a mixture of Steven Universe and Stardew Valley
Yeah the art does look very similar to steven universe! I think they also took a lot of inspiration from the movie Kiki's Delivery Service. 😊

✨♥️✨Wylde Flowers is another very beautiful cosy witchy game! Currently it’s only on mobile but it’ll be on Nintendo Switch eventually (not sure when), and the magick in it mirrors real life magick quite nicely. ✨♥️✨

You might be the right person to ask. Recently I saw a preview of a witchy game for switch but can’t remember the name and can’t find it anywhere. It’s a game about being a witch but you get to decorate your house how you want and move things where you want, then you make potions and do rituals for the townspeople and the graphics were much better than pixel art. Any ideas what game this could be? Lol I was Interested when you could decorate your house how you wanted. Unless this sounds like too many games out there lol if you have any idea what game this might be I would appreciate it
Hmmm a lot of games fit that bill so I don't know the exact game. Maybe it's Kitori Academy, Wylde Flowers, or Potion Permit? There is a series of games called the Atelier Series where you are an alchemist that makes potions and things but you can't customize the rooms.

Hey i loved your video and i have some critique for you that might improve your videos. The backround musc is a bit loud and in a longer video very distracting from your voice, a little bit less is more relaxing especially hearing it over and over again. It is also very weird hearing you talk in direct speech with us but seeing you look somewhere else bc it makes watching you really uncomfortable. If this is your style pls go for it i just wanted to point those two out. Your content is great thank you for the video
Thank you for the critique! I'll definitely adjust the volume of the music. I'm still figuring out audio haha and yeah it can be sort of weird that I'm looking away form the camera. Thanks for noting that. I'm working on that but it's difficult for me to talk naturally while looking at a camera so I like to look at myself when im recording bc it feels like I'm talking to a friend haha
@@SeeingStarsGaming thats so good and i totally understand the struggle with the camera...maybe start with occasionally glanzing into the camera just like with normal conversations. Love the trick with the mirror btw such a good idea!

Currently Little Witch in the Woods is in early access and is not on the Switch as of right now. I'm sure it will be on the Switch eventually but for now it's only available on PC and platforms that support Gamepass.

I wanted a witch game that I could play all the time. A game that I could play constantly, like ghost exile, like csgo or something you know what I mean. I wanted to make potions, see different effects, fly like a witch, I wanted a game that would never end. But I haven't found such a game yet 🥲😭
I think Witchbrook might fill that void for you but it's a long way off until it will be released. It's a game that has a plot line but doesn't really end like Stardew Valley. Currently, Little Witch in the Woods allows you to fly on a broom and make potions but it's still in early access and can be pretty text-heavy at times. I've tried a couple other games featuring witches but most witchy games out now probably won't perfectly fit your description, unfortunately.
