Ooooo Devils Throat is one of my favorite places to visit in Bulgaria!!! We visited when I was little but I remember it perfectly. I tried to get my boyfriend to go last year but he has a fear of heights and wasn’t up to it. I will try to convince him again this summer! 😄
😮 just think of the volume of water and/or the time it took for it to hollow out that. Millions of years ? And there was, presumably, a large watercourse, from somewhere to somewhere... I’m so glad you found this incredible product of nature as amazing as I did!! I asked about whether it is thought a river ran through while we were there but no one knew. Personally, I agree that a river must has run through 👍🏻 and a massive one at that! I have said it a hundred times before but NATURE IS AMAZING 😻 Great question! Bulgaria is interesting because it’s not the largest country out there but there is soooo much to see. It doesn’t take long to travel through if you have a car but it’s definitely not possible to see everything in a short period of time. Put it this way- I’ve been coming every summer for 3 months since I was a baby and have lived here now permanently for 3 years and I travel a lot … I still haven’t even seen a fraction of what there is to see! 😃
Yea that stairwqy is a bit steep but i made it ,your boyfriend can too. My favorite i think so far is Petrich Baba Vanga,s place ,i wated to go for a very long time and we went some years ago and i wish to go again .❤
