- Today we have my Miss Universe2021 review about the Full Show, Top 16, top 10, top 5 and top 3 PLUS my honest opinion about the new Miss Universe 2021 winner Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu.
Miss Universe 2021 just took place moments ago and I wanted to film this video while the information is still fresh. Watching this year's edition of Miss Universe 2021 was very satisfying and it was very special since I got to film a Miss Universe 2021 Reaction Live with you all. I feel like it's always a more memorable experience when you share the experience with people who share a similar passion.
Regardless of that, I still wanted to film a Miss Universe 2021 Full Show Review to tell you about the highlights and low points of the competition, my opinions about the top 16, top 10, top 5 and top 3 and also to express my feelings about the new Miss Universe 2021: Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu.

This year's season was completely perfection. There's nothing violent reaction. They redeemed the overall lack and boredom from last year. Congrats to Ms. India.

the production was great but the camera angles could've been better and the timing shouldn't be rushed....
Only one lady has a crown, but this 70th will be remembered as the edition with so many winners and history makers. Proud of all the ladies! Miss Philippines is getting dubbed as "Bea the Bakunawa Queen." Imagine that--Bea to Luigi to Bakunawa. What a transformation!
I'm very proud of Miss India because she really deserved it and we Filipinos are happy with the results, of course we are proud of Bea for making it to the top five even she didn't get the crown. Miss Universe 2021 are the best because I feel like all of the candidates are deserved to be crowned ❤️❤️❤️
Philippines was actually good in prelims.. her hairdo was so engaging and the color of the gown too. I knew she would make it to the top 16 considering that she is good in interviews ❤️
More than that her stage presence, authenticity. Her performance was not fake, exaggerated.

Aside from 2018, this is the most peaceful top 5 and Top 3, the universe was satisfied with the result. They are all deserving.

As a South African 🇿🇦 we really love the Philippines 🇵🇭 so I was really happy when Bea made top 5❤. Lalela made us so proud, being crowned 2nd runner up after all that she's been through, literally made me shed a tear😭😍❤🇿🇦
Same here!! I was worried Lalela might not even reach top 16 after everything so when she made top 3 I was incredibly thrilled. I was a fan of Paraguay from the beginning and India did super well so I am completely satisfied with the result. (Unlike how I felt with Natasha not making it earlier in the year)

I rallied behind her and supported BEA from the very start. I encountered a lot of mean people who attacked me for supporting BEA but I did not falter on giving my full support. But now, look at her - she proved the doubters assumptions wrong! There is really something special about her and I think the judges saw that during closed-door interview and when she performed on stage.

My surprise was Paraguay making top 3 when Colombia deserved that spot (in my humble opinion). Don’t get me wrong, Paraguay is a gorgeous girl but if we boiling it down to performance and Q&A combined, Colombia had the edge over her. I also think SA deserved the 1RU spot over her.

I am happy about the results. I just wished Ms. Thailand was also included in Top 16. I am rooting for her as well as Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, India, Paraguay and South Africa. Ms. India really deserves it. 👏🏼💞

We're all happy and Bea did not disappoint us in her performance. based on my observation in social media after MU all of filipinos are proud of her and didn't give any bad or hate comments about her.

I think one important thing that we have to remember apart from the presentation for the prelims or the actual finals, is what happens when the camera is not rolling, The girls are being judged and observed like 24/7 off and on cam. This is what we don't see as fans that the organizers and judges consider. There are other factors that they look at for the lady who will be crowned and ladies who makes it as top placers. While the ladies may seem all fab and technically ready on stage, there is truly more than meets the eye to find the top contenders. The country is truly celebrating having achieved the top 5 spot this year and we are proud of Bea while not being a fan favorite, she remained true to herself, not having to conform with the standards that others want her to be. She is such a humble person with humble beginnings, Her story serves as an inspiration to a young little girl here in the Philippines from a poor family who can dream big and be like Bea when she grows up. That is worth more than a crown. God Bless everyone.
I'm so happy that you really appreciated miss Vietnam's efforts, I am a Vietnamese and it made me so disappointed when some of my country's beauty fans just completely turned their back on her. They bodyshamed her, insulted her, disregarded all of her efforts and worst of all, calling her Miss Vote, Miss 15 + 1, miss Copycat, miss Lazy, and this really upsets me. I think she had a complete transformation (tbh I was not impressed by her at first, but time went by and I can feel her willingness, she did everything for two words: Vietnam, and you can see that her national costume WEIGHS UP TO 30kg, which is neglected by those fans), her walk was almost flawless, her aura that she carries, her interaction, and although her pronunciation is not that good, she is really really really willing to talk to the others. Do you guys think that if she hadn't been the most voted representative she would have made it to the top 16? To me, it's a yes. Overall it was quite upset but this makes me admire her arduous efforts since the beginning of the competition more than ever. A big thank you to the foreign fans that have supported miss Kim during this journey, I love all the other contestants too!

Bea worked her way up. She rocked the swimsuit and evening gown presentations. A well-deserved top 5 finish.
This year, 2015, and 2018 had THE BEST runway! Plenty of time and variety of angles for the girls to showcase themselves. I am extremely satisfied!!
India deserve the crown..good person in and out the way she speaks..but all the girls are great in their own way
The reason why Puerto Rico didn't make it to top 5 is because of her Final Evening gown performance! She exagerated her walk and it looked unnatural, she was too greedy. Even me I want her to win but because of her evening gown performance I told myself she'll be ended up in top 10. Philippines India Colombia were powerful during that gown performance
Puerto Rico's shoulders are very threatrical, walk is very slow that the camera jumped to next contestant without her reaching the end of runway.

Philippines did well in prelims. She's not trying too hard, her hairdo is unique and no one else has the same as her. She's simple, enjoying and carried herself well after it isn't about the turning that really matters.
I’m so happy for Beatrice because she overcame the pressures and expectations of the Filipino pageant fans. I’m gonna be honest, the fan base is really concerning me because it feels as if the magnifying glass keeps getting bigger every year. I really hope we pull back from the level of criticism we (Filipinos) hold because depending on how we feel, whether good or bad, it is multiplied by 100 and it either uplifts our candidate or push them to the brink of a breakdown. Beatrice COMPLETELY overcame it ALL!
Most people from your country like to put down your candidate but like also to claim victory when your candidate succeed!
I think the reason why the “Pageant Experts” did not get the accurate prediction simply because. They stereotype the candidates . Moreover, it’s more of having favoritism and sympathy to specific favorite which prevented them from looking for good qualities of other candidates who are just quiet and playing under the radar. Experts only look on turns, twirls, drama of the candidates on stage. The funny thing is most candidates who were fierce, twirling and spinning on Prelims did not make it to Top 16, Top 10, Top 5. 😃
And I hear excuses from the “Pageant Experts” that they think some candidates performed better during Prelims and not on Finals. No, Mam! Their performance is exactly the same for the Prelims and Final Night ; and other candidates also wore the same gowns. They had nothing to showcase already coz they showed everthing they have on Prelims and other candidates saved theiir surprises for the Final Night. . This is just an excuse by the “Pageant Experts” for their wrong predictions! The worst part was, they were Very condescending to the most contestants when they give their comments, and making the candidates feel that they are NOT enough and worthy to get the crown : and make all their hardwork, sacrifices discredited.

1) Ace your interview ( make sure judges remember you)
2) Do well for your prelims ( wear your best dress and make sure judges remeber you in national costume)
3) Behave well at miss universe, be kind to everyone coz you`re always being watched.

The Latin community has been pouring a lot of hate towards Bea, and I felt heartbroken. Filipinos have nothing but love and respect to all the Latina delegates like Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Colombia. And for that support to not be reciprocated is just disheartening.

Bea was the most beautiful candidate for me during the top 10 up to the top 5 not because I'm a Filipino, it's just that her beauty really stood out among the girls, maybe because of her hairstyle, it really suited to her beautiful face... Luis the nice thing about your reviews is that you give your opinions but with respect and fairness. And if you ended up wrong, you still own up to it. You always keep things positive. Anyways thanks for supporting Bea and thinking she could reach top 9. A lot thought she wouldn’t even enter top 16. I was already happy with her in top 16, excited to see her in top 10 and totally grateful she is in top 5. I really thought it was Puerto Rico who would win, but then she must have given too much that it didńt look authentic anymore. In the end the most deserving girl won, Miss India is gorgeous and the stars aligned for her.

Lalela made South Africa proud indeed, given her lack of support from her own Government regarding the Palestinian issue. However, Lalela seemed nervous and tense at the end, not her usual bubbly, smilling self. Congratulations to India, Paraguay and South Africa.
She is the only girl that had the most obstacles in that competition. Even France testing positive was minor compared to Lalela, l mean being bullied to a point of having to leave social media, having people march to Miss SA offices everyday to harrass her, having your own government disown you and to top it having your gown sponsor drop you 2 weeks before the pageant. This was too much. I am way older than Lalela and l would have abandoned MU if l was put through all this drama but guess what she took all the way to top 3 and to be honest l could see her sadness during the top 3 round, you could see that instead of rejoicing, she is thinking back to what she had to go through and that killed her spirits. I am a mother and it really pained me to see her going through those emotions.

@@infinity.4977 For your info l am South African and people were protesting (not marching) outside Miss SA offices. Those protests were led largely by PSA and some EFF members. This is stuff that was all over news, SABC, ENCA, Newsroom Afrika. Just go and dig the files you will see. Maybe l used a wrong term marching instead of protesting but thats the same.
I got emotional reading this. She overcame. It was not easy but it was worth it.
Im so satisfied with the results especially the composition of the Top 5.
Honestly, Philippines really surprised me. I thought she will be the weakest and most underwhelming Filipina candidate in recent years, but she proved me wrong and slapped me with her performance. She embodies the "Know when to peak" mantra. Really proud of her.
Paraguay is my sentimental favorite, but India deserves to win based on overall performance. Happy for her.
The weakest representative of the Philippines in miss universe in the past 12 years was Rabiya. She was beautiful yes, had an amazing walk, her communication skills was superb but she allowed people’s words to overwhelm her and that was her downfall. I’ll never forget when she went live crying. I get it that she didn’t know about social media toxicity until she won miss universe Philippines but the way she handled it was so bad.
Miss Philippines question was hard, not her destiny to win... you cannot deliver the answer right away because she has to consider the ordinary people, the government, the businessmen, the corporate world, and all of those have conflicting ideas about vaccination. She has nowhere to go, either you will become the enemy of the government or you will become the enemy of the ordinary people....But, im so proud of you Miss Philippines, really an unexpected blessings. I SO LOVED INDIA TOO.
With this quite improved production and MU crowning the most deserving country to win the crown; I have high expectations that the next edition of Miss Universe would be as better or can even exceed the success of the show this year. Hopefully 🙏

I agree with you, Lalela should have been 1st runner up…besides that we are still very proud of your Queen ( especially after all the trials and tribulations she went through…from the government…to local designers dropping her last minute) she’s the epitome of a strong resilient woman…South Africa 🇿🇦 in the top 3, 4 out of 5 consecutive times.
As for Philippines 🇵🇭 I absolutely love her. When she stepped on stage for the swimwear segment , I knew she was going all the way….and she sealed it in evening wear. Congratulations to her.
Puerto Rico is a beautiful girl, and is amazing on stage but truth be told…the evening wear performance was too much…it was slightly awkward. The shoulder and all. Remember how graceful and poise Madison was in 2019…it should have been like that…honestly after that performance something told me she might not make the top 5, yet originally she was in my top3.
As for the Bahamas…I’m beyond happy for her.
This year was way better than last one. Just pure competition. No bias for me. I'm happy of the result. I'm happy Bea finished as top 5. India deserves the crown 👑.

Miss Singapore speaks so well. She must have aced her interview . Nandita and Beatrice have the best legs in the competition. Miss India was a clear winner. Panama should have gone further. Her walk is so good. Paraguay is pretty but she is boring. Vietnam is pretty but she is a bit overrated. The production is so good since 2018.
Funny because many Pageant Pages excluded Philippines on their list of top 16! Overlooking Philippines in Miss Universe especially in technical skills is a complete joke! Philippines is very hands on when it comes into pasarela. No surprise why Bea made it top 5! Philippines is Philippines!

Thank you Luis for highlighting on Thailand and Belgium. They are surprisingly unpresented.
While some pageant critics (i shan’t mention names) criticized Thailand on her lack of skills, she can’t walk etc, you still acknowledge on her effort and overall direction. For this, u have gained my support 100%.
I believe Aruba & Singapore were very good in their interviews. Stage interview with Steve showed how eloquent, funny & full sense of humor they were. Aruba actually made me lol with her fun & witty personality.
Correction: Philippines didn't broke the all time record of continuous streak. USA had 22 years and Venezuela had 21 years. The record that has been broken was a tie from India with 11 years. Congratulation Philippines, had the longest on-going streak in Miss Universe.

But I guess, there was a break from the longest streak and then continued to garnered another long streak. Unless you can show us the number that with 22 for USA and 21 continuous streak for USA and Venezuela, respectively, hadn’t had a break and I will stand corrected. ✌️❤️✌️

Im happy im one of the people who really believe in bea since the beginning. Since i saw her in winning on MUP i know theres something about her. She dont fake herself just to please everybody. I’m really rooting for Bea to bring home the crown, but let us all be honest, the first time I saw India, PR and Paraguay, I already said if Bea can make it top 5 or even 10, I will be happy for it already, but if she could bring home the crown that’s a big bonus for us. The finals night of MU was quite satisfying, the results no questions as I predicted the most top 10-5 after prelim was mostly there. India’s winning is a well deserved for this edition. 😍

AND SO EVERY LEARNED INDIVIDUALS MUST TAKE THE ISSUE SERIOUSLY AND MUST BE RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH FOR ONES OWN AND PUBLIC SAFETY AND HELP IN FINDING BEST SOLUTIONS, AND IF HAVING VACCINE PASSPORT WOULD EASE AND HELP IN FIGHTING THIS PANDEMIC THEN I DEFINITELY AGREE FOR IT TO BE MANDATED )
i just wanted to add as well that Steve Harvey's line "is first" kind a bit become a lucky charm for a contestant. I remembered Everytime he says that line like pia and Catriona the contestant magically is crowned, haha😉💪🏻. Just my opinion and observation.

PR is too pageant patty and the styling was too forced and dated for me! Everything was big in terms of hair, makeup and walk! She looked less manufactured when she put her hair on a bun when she wore that peace bodycon dress. However, she is still gorgeous. The girls who made it in the TOP 5 were so natural and all deserving.

Miss Philippines question was hard and controversial among the 5.. not her destiny to win you cannot deliver the answer right away in 30 seconds because she has to consider the ordinary people, the government, the businessmen, the corporate world, and all of those have conflicting ideas about vaccination.

What's good this year were Filipinos didn't put too much expectations on Bea which is a good thing. So even if her preparations aren't that long, with the help of how much she knows herself made her reached top 5.
I'm really a fan of pageantry...and i do have high standards... I don't care about runner ups...but then here comes Bea and for the first time i felt so happy even tho she didn't won.... I'm happy that a pure blooded filipina represent our country this year...and it only says one thing....we don't need that foreign blood to become one of the top in mu.....it broke that standard..

Ms Philippines didnt do twirls, fierce eyes or any stunts which is smart come to think of it if she does that it wont seperate her from the rest.
Almost all delegates did the face, twirls, dramatic turns more like Pia and Catriona style but Bea just walked straight project smile and thats it. You see her there no theatrical drama whatsoever.
It did worked for her big time.
As per her question it’s damn if you do damn if you dont q&a it’s a political question and no matter what your answer is it will not sit well with everybody.

1. USA had the longest streak ever recorded with 22 consecutive placements between 1977 and 1998
2. Venezuela had 21 consecutive placements between 1983 and 2003... in addition, this includes a 13 year streak of top 5 or 6 finishes between 1991 and 2003
Philippines is in the right track and has an ongoing streak of 12 consecutive placements but still a long way to go... Also it is important to keep in mind that between 1984 and 2002 it was a top 10... not a top 16 or top 20...

I am a big fan of Miss Thailand. Her platform is not new but nevertheless need to be represented in the bigger arena. Her performance and confidence at the national pageant is far better than in the prelims. Sierra - Miss Canada 2016, during her time, she’s powerful and confident. She believed and stood by her advocacy. This is something that Ann lacked on the stage that night. She’s still a beautiful and great representative for Thailand.
I feel the same. Ann seemed too stressful or too focused and forgot to enjoy the moment. In MUT, she was so confident and shined!

i think there is misconception that judges judge girls for their technique and transitions thats only the fans and bloggers who consider that as a factor. Paula Shugart has stated time and time again its about being authentic and interview that would be the biggest factor to make it through. Yes a great walk helps in presentation but otherwise it really isnt a big deal.
