Can someone tell how much the console is shacking during running? I am afraid that it's too wiggly while running, especially for folks heavier than 100 kg's
So, ahead of my workout, I can create a route where I set the distance I want to travel and then I can program the treadmill to change the speed/incline at certain times so I don’t have to? I just run…?
Great review and very good channel. I am on market for either F80 or F85. Just read your comment and as a runner I feel it is odd not to be able to set a running distance. Did I understand you correctly ?
I like the other Sole treadmills that do, especially the F80 and ST90. I also like the Bowflex Treadmill 22 and Peloton Tread as well as the NordicTrack/ProForm treadmills which are currently beta testing Netflix. Keep in mind that these treadmills (outside of Sole) require an additional subscription to access the apps.
I am trying to decide between this treadmill & the Nordic track 2450. I keep reading that Nordic track customer service and response to issues are horrible. It’s really scaring me away from it - but dunno if they’ve resolved those issues. For this Sole treadmill, is the speed transition (increasing or decreasing the speed) fast (unlike the incline response?). Thanks.
Unfortunately, a lot of home fitness brands don't have the best customer service. It's so consistent across brands in this price range that it doesn't really sway us one way or another. And Sole treadmills are slow to change speed and incline. I hope that helps.
I see no mention of the electronics being able to calculate and display a MET score but I can plainly see a MET score displayed on the screen of the Sole video on the F85 treadmills page. Can you elaborate? A MET score is a critical feature for me.
When you create a profile on the F85, you can input your weight which allows the treadmill to calculate a MET score based on the estimated number of calories you burned during the activity.

Yes, I use it with my Android phone. You have to download a separate app. It's called the ANPLUS Screen Mirroring. It's made by the same creator (Sunrise Technology) of the Sole Mirroring app, but that app no longer works. I hope Sole improves this feature for Android users in the future!
The F63 does not have a touchscreen and has fewer content options. The F85 is more powerful, declines, and has more smart features with its touchscreen.
Was looking to buy either a Nordic or Sole treadmill. I will NOT buy a NORDIC treadmill as I read horror story about Nordic after sale customer service. I can’t even get a written copy of their warranty extension! They are good a selling but very bad after the sale is made! I have read similar bad stories about Sole Customer service. Waiting for information from Sole before making a decision. UA-camr should make a priority to talk about Customer Service and company support. Nothing worst than buying an expensive paper weight.
This is the newest model of the Sole F85. It appears to be only available in the US right now. Hopefully Sole will release the newer model in the UK soon.
Talking to someone at CYC Fitness they mentioned new models out in UK before the New Year. I'm seeing options on the current range decreasing across retailers as they are running out of stock.
The F85 is a bit softer than running on the road, but overall, it is a firm treadmill. I recommend NordicTrack, ProForm, or Horizon if you want something cushioned.

With the custom workouts, you set a time instead of a distance. Then you can set speed and incline.

We haven't pushed this treadmill to its limit, but we have run for over an hour with no problem!
Is the claimed top speed accurate? I use stryd footpod at treadmills in the gym and some of the pace is totally off by 20-30sec/mile

With the F85 sinec mode, will the tredmill move simultaneous to up and downhill according to the nature displayed?
In the Kinomap app on the F85, the incline should adjust according to the onscreen terrain.

You can create custom interval programs on the Sole F85!

I got the F80 and use a iPad free workout videos and use a sound box for sound, and a stand fan . Money saved ❤
