He was furious at himself, upset, happy for usyk, annoyed at his critics, and so many more emotions. And all of that was being spilled at once. All he needed was a shoulder to cry on and then someone to talk to in private before he spoke to the world. The guy is human
AJ just couldn't take the lose at the end of the fight. All fighters who lose get emotional and all that. AJ took that to another level. Unprofessional what he did when the fight was over.
Just reading the comments is enough to tell you why he snapped! He is so disrespected by the British public it's unreal.

This was the day I stopped supporting Joshua.
Dillian Whyte warned for years that we were not seeing the real Joshua.
He gave a good account of himself and left everything he had in the ring. Unfortunately for him, he simply was defeated by the better fighter.
On another night he may have landed a knockout blow.
No shame in losing to Usyk.
I understand he is only human but he let himself down after the fight.

Respects to Joshua, Usyk and every single boxer. Boxing is not a sport, you are putting your life on the line every single time against a skilled opponent who is physically capable of killing you with a couple well placed blows. You have my respect for what you do and the thrilling entertainment it provides us armchair fans.
That was me asking the question to AJ before he broke down in tears- I've interviewed AJ many times- he is always respectful and does a lot outside of the ring that people rarely speak about.
Did it make you feel like a big man?
Thanks for that info, Antoine. Sometimes we forget that famous people are just that- people. Joshua put it all on the line and lost a great fight. It's understandable, but not excusable, what he did in the aftermath. A few minutes of idiocy on his part shouldn't erase all the good he has done for his fans over the years.
I dont think anyone can say he didn't give his all and everyone said he put in a performance the after fight rant only he knows what that was all about I dont doubt he's a good guy but the lasting legacy of that fight will be that rant which is unfortunate for him because he put in a shift.

@@jaydaone2282 because he was overrated, and was a fake Robert for so long. We saw his true colours last night, maybe ppl would like him more if he wasn’t so fake and acted like a prick after the fight
@@jaydaone2282 thank you
We love you big AJ...True inspiration
Eddie stood with AJ, that’s so inspiring.
His words about not fights or belts but the way how you treat people determines you as a person - ABSOLUTELY true. AJ is a good man and I respect him. 👏👏👏
I was rooting for him big time, and after Round 9 i thought This was all AJ, but Usyk showed the world that he deserved it in the last 3 rounds. Unlucky and i really hope he comes back. AJ doesnt deserve to go out like this, he has done alot for Boxing and has helped the sport gain popularity once again.
Say no more bro
I agree for the most part but i would not say it was unlucky for AJ he simply got outclassed by Usyk and i think that needs to be agnowledged
Deontay wilder going to knock AJ head off the ring and then retire him.
I love Eddie Hearn, he's shown me and the world what a decent human being he is and how much he cares about Anthony Joshua. I can feel how much Anthony's happiness means to him. He is more than a promoter to Anthony, he is like a mother, father, brother, and friend. All these attributes showed at this conference. Love ❤️ you Eddie.
eddie hearn is one of the ones that been gas lighting aj into being completely detached from reality.
hearn's a money hungry mofo
Eddie is just a white Don King
@@mariolisa2832 finally some called it out!👏🏾👏🏾 yes your right he is white don king!
This interview is just so sick, everyone’s egos are non existent and you’re just hearing them speak honestly about themselves and the gratitude they have for themselves, each other and the sport. Incredible
At least Eddie gave him credit he deserves this sport ain't easy
Heads up brother! You're still a champion and a wonderful inspiration! All the best in what you decide to do hereon. God bless you 🙏🏽👑❤
It must be so hard . Well done and also feel sorry for you .
Trying so hard , great ambassador for the sport .
Respect 110%
Sugar coat this all they want, post fight reaction from AJ was one of the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen!
AJ exhausted himself in round 9. All my friends were cheering, fist pumping at the close of the round thinking he'd weakened Usyk and he had him next round. Meanwhile all I could think was Joshua is doomed the next round. If you're as big as him and you commit to a KO you need to KO, or you're going to be very tired. Round 10 Joshua bearly threw and from there on it was obvious the outcome.
💯
Obvious with hindsight yes. You're just an armchair like the rest
Crazy that power slips that fast
*@bobby pell* he bearly threw.
That was my thought, as well, Bobby. Mounting an offensive like that, in the later part of the fight takes a lot out of a boxer. I mentioned that to my wife, between rounds. Having said that, it was incredible that Usyk took all of that punishment and still had the reserve to come back like that in the 10th. The guy is unworldly.
I love you AJ you attitude has always been so attractive and inspiring. You improved alot and I'm proud of you 😍💪🏾🙏🏾
We forget that we’re watching the very best vs the very best in high level sports like this
To go 12 rounds vs Usyk, a guy whuse been training since a kid to be the absolute warrior and fighter he is, you have to be proud of yourself.
He started the sport late and pushed himself to the limits, but respectully came short. Have utmost respect for him he’s always been down to earth, only ever hear good things about him and I remember meeting him outside a london night club once, he was warm and friendly. Even round Watford, burnt oak etc, only hear good things about him
It was a good fight and he did himself proud, no matter what the ego filled, unself aware comments from some ppl will say. We forget we’re watching the best fight against each other, it gives me an appreciation for events like this to remember that.
He has been a champion for most of his career. It must be really hard to lose to anyone. AJ has accomplished more than most people ever will in there entire lifetime. I wish him all the best moving forward.
Congrats to Usyk of course. I wasn't rooting for him but I respect him highly.
@@stevenalderley9036 it's all relative mate. He was at the pinnacle of success in his chosen field. Most people chat but they aren't willing to take the steps to reach the top of their game. Not everyone wants to but he aims higher than most.
@Kelly yeah mate 100% true. Have a good day
*Accomplished more than most people will in their lifetime*
Average human beings desire to be a heavyweight boxer... Ain't nobody got time for that. 🤣🤣👍👍
He's bound to feel hard done by that ukrainian judge miss scored the fight and it's cost him
Respect to both fighters
Life goes on. Sometimes you learn the hard way and suffer but it makes you stronger! Come back stronger
Very proud of you AJ you did very amazing in all your matches and I've loved you for your personalitie and how charming u are not for how you can box but you are very talented good luck man
@@dickiemolitsanti2213 🤔 who gives a f**k
You could see Joshua was close to tearing up even before the points decision was read out in the ring...In the aftermath of his strange post fight rant you can now understand better that it all just overwhelmed him...the camp...the intense pressure he puts on himself. He is a warrior..a very good boxer...has a fantastic record with a huge amount of KO's.Usyk is one of the most natural talents in this weight class...exceptional at everything.I can't see where Joshua goes from here though having said all of that but he delivered a proper performance last night...maybe him and Wilder will meet.
I’d like to see him fight any of the following
Joyce
Fury
Whyte
Wilder
Ruiz
Ortiz.
First fight I wanna see for him is whyte then Andy 3 fight then Luis ortiz then wilder
@@moudjibmadouri8452 wilder isn't going to be sticking around that long he's got to be his next or the following fight or it never happens
I think any of them beats him. Hrs Bern very well protected. Wilder destroys him. Ruiz outworks him.
Usyk is probably one of the best boxers of the last twenty years
Anthony is a really good guy. Thank you from Ukraine for a such good performance. You've made this fight great because only a great opponents can really reveal each other. You were great tonight.
And for me you set an example of a true person. Thank you.
He said openly don't buy from the white man? Nice guy?
@@davejenvey3598 he was talking about if ethnic minorities want to move up in society then it starts with investing and supporting your own first, in that particular conversation he was talking about how black people should buy from black-owned businesses to help one another and said this applies to all minorities
What I like about Joshua is he let us in to see a bit more into the boxing world and the pressures fighter has to carry. He was fighting for United Kingdom Great Britain, this is a massive pressure.Anthony we are all proud of you you fought really well and have nothing to be ashamed of, May God Continue to bless you.All of us in life are in our own ring sometimes we lose sometimes we win.I like the guys answering questions with Anthony May God bless them, reality is not always easy.Well done guys you should all be proud of yourselves.Superb entertainment and Boxing history continues.👏
AJ, you are the best and amazing human being!!
Believe or not this is actually a great moment for AJ. He's getting a slice of reality. He's waking up.
You could be right,
Agreed. It will do him good but he has to forget about all the money he has and go back to his original trainer again. Was it simms.?
Many people chase perfect records but losses makes you a better boxer
@@giveusanepleasebob992 totally agree
You Defo used to be a wilder fan
No matter whether he won or lost, Joshua is still human but most importantly, through a very tough, painful, frustrating, upset, heartbroken moment for him, he still went out of his way to make a point to show Usyk all the respect and praise for him. Joshua is a true role model. He will always have all of my respect.
What for a street mugger?
No,he just disrespected not just the champion, not just the fans but the sport I love,Let's get it right.🙄
Ok then...
He stole usyks moment and looked like a mug doing it awkward speech 😆
He’s a grown man, why is everyone defending him like he’s a child?
Win or lose .. I always respect a boxer who takes on all comers.
❤ how Eddie had AJ’s back & spoke PURE TRUTH!
Thanks to both fighters for a great fight. AJ just had a moment after the fight, I think we can all admit we have had one of those in life. I’m still a fan and wish both fighters the best in whatever they go on and do🥊
put some respect on his name man, guy has been full of class for years and now he has one breakdown people turn on him in the blink of an eye
He throw the belts .. swear .. please he got found out ... He needs to accept the word humble .
if he advanced a bit on those body shots he would easily have had at least one knockdown, but usyk is incredible and is so hard to hit. i hope he fights whyte again so he gets another shot at the title but idk if he'll continue
Respect is earned through one’s actions. Tonight’s actions made him lose some of that in eyes of quite a few people and its ok to point it out. AJ will see the backlash on social media and learn from that, so critique isn’t always bad.
@@nav2009 but when Chisora throws a table it’s all good and that’s just him

People recognise entitlement. Simple as

Love Edie!! He spoke his heart out and honoured AJ in truth!!! Respect!!
Well said Eddie Great emotions your right about his record he fights anyone keep his head up

Anthony Joshua...
Your true fans are still with you..
Find it within you and focus on your way back to the top ...
Remember on your way to the top, you won and others lost... They picked themselves up, you have more than the average person does to pick yourself up and get back to winning ways

And he is just human, he was so hungry for this fight and he was under immense pressure. He lost his cool because his emotions were all over the place and on top of that the World was watching. Your still a champ AJ 🏆 💪 👏
