Note that opening a battery can be very dangerous. They contain Lithium which is explosive.

Just a polite warning to folk that third circuit can produce dangerous DC voltages on the secondary (Output) side, so make sure you know how to handle those voltages safely before you build it. Also note that it'll draw quite a high current out of the battery, so don't go driving it with Zinc Chloride cells! ⚡⚠👍
