He’s not Todd Barton for no reason... this man is a living legend. Whenever I happen to stumble upon a performance vid I always listen and am blown away. The compositions are sometimes subtle sometimes in your face... there are little rests in there that build anticipation.. genius

Yes, me too. What I find most interesting is the compositional aspect. I guess it's improvised, but it doesn't come across that way. Very satisfying listen indeed.

Agree! He is so amazing, with the sounds he conjures but also with the improvisations, which are just incredible...

Saw Todd once live in Amsterdam and his inspiring music & talk is still part of my brain (in a good way) \0/ The key word was (is) transition(s)

Transitions are indeed key to his music. I am struggling with that in my own synth adventures. But, I've been at it only for about a year :)

@@theproblembelief7549 Hi, I created.a "Transition" track after I saw Todd in Amsterdam. Since pasting links in the UA-cam comment can go wrong check my channel (the "video" tab") for TRANSITION. This is the visual with the sound of the official released track. BTW, just connected \0/ Tale care!

It's shocking to be friends with such a genius!! I wish I could do more music with him!! Have had a few gigs with him when he was music director of a play I was in, (this was in the olden days when I was a child) he's just the best...no one can make all the sounds he can...on whatever instrument he plays....and they are surely in the hundreds...I love this. Analog beautifulness..I'm sure there are digital devices, but the heart of it seems analog to me

fred If you understand electronic music, you’ll appreciate it. It’s a journey; It’s an art.
