Thanks for sharing.Nice to have some connection from people who love and appreciate their jimny. Its a shared emotion only jimny drivers have... sort of suv bro. Enjoy each day with your jimny!
Honest & frank video, appreciated. As a Swede I too have extra spotlights on my Jimny. After a lot of research I found round ones (10cm in diameter) that not only look good on the car but perform very well too. As you I have a lot of accessories added, as well as double diff-lockers as I do some serious off-roading here in Central America. The Jimny is a choice of simplicity, drivability, and it is a joy to drive. As you, I have no plan selling it.
A sad thing that this is your last Jimny video. Many Jimnys are used mainly as mall-crawlers and therefore the five door model, though I agree that a five-door Jimny is not something I wanted to see though over time you get accustomed to it. In South Africa we have a very different emphasis on accessories geared to our sunny outdoors requiring roof racks, awnings, and internal fridges. Overlanding and 4x4 driving requires tyre upgrades, rock sliders, radial cup protectors, differential breather kits and especially lift kits that become essential if you are going to add weight by adding accessories.
Mall crawler suits 80% of this car milage. All mods and accessories is all fun and games, but it easily gets to a point when it might be better to choose another 4x4. Thanks for your comment🙌
Australia has 3 versions of the Jimny. Jimny Lite: Features Double DIN radio with CD player, Halogen Headlights, no foglights, steel 15" wheels Jimny(sometimes called Jimny GLX): Pretty much close to the SZ5 but does not have TPMS IIRC Jimny XL: Same as GLX but 5 door version, but has some differences like 9" headunit unlike GLX 7"
Remove the low hanging bow shackles. You could put them on when you need them for a recovery. All you gain by having them on is noise and the chance to loose one when the pin vibrates loose.
My first major “accessory” is a shock upgrade. I have ordered some KYB Skorchers. We get a lot of wind here in NZ, and driving the Jimny in cross-winds is really scary.
Hm considering you 9nly did 5000km in 3 years, if I heard correctly, the corrosion is worrying and in general stone chips and stretches etc are quite substantial cosnidering this is close to no use. I did now 55000km in 2 yrs in my Model 3 and lets see how that will fare in the next ( voluntary) inspection in spring. Surprisingly, thr Jimny fares better in the German TÜV report than the Model 3 which comes out last of all 😂😂😂
Plockade upp min blåa Jimny den 22a december iår, kommer vara min bruksbil. Kommer inte gå jättemycket hardcore offroad utan lite mer ojämna grusvägar och djup snö då plogningen här där ja bor är knappt märkbar 😂

Hey great Video and informations. I've got 2 questions. Where did you buy the rearlights and the Front Turn Lights?
Thx Michael
Thanks! Rear lights from Jimnystyle in UK, and front turn lights from Aliexpress.

The grey one is my fav
It wasn’t my fav color, but not many cars left when I bought it, but the color has grown on me during ownership, it’s almost a urban camo paint.
