The highlight of the year in baseball, if not only in MLB, was definitely the WBC final between Ohtani vs Trout! It was the stage the baseball gods had set for the "first two-way player in 100 years" and the "best player of the modern era". It happened in March, but it is remembered more vividly than when the Rangers won the championship. It was a duel that will go down in history.
The most spectacular and historic games are Shohei's doubleheader games when he completed scoreless pitch and hit two HRs in the second game. He has done something that nobody had done before in our modern baseball history.
Watching Shohei's beyond the dream documentary, his love and passion in baseball is incredible. He really makes baseball even more fun to watch really one of a kind.
