Greetings from Germany to one of the most wonderful places on the world. We love it.
Hello from sunny Sanibel 😊🌴
Excellent drone footage ... worth the wait to enjoy the island culinary adventure that you presented! 🍍
Have fun....Hope you enjoy it!
my wife and I and 3 daughters went to sanibel every summer from 1994 until 2008. Wonderful food.
The best!
Wow, this is heartbreaking given the fact Ian blew it all away
Thank you for this Excellent review, I learned about Casa Ybel, Thistle lodge!! On July 9th, we rented E-bikes from Billy's at Baileys and toured Sanibel and stopped off at the Thistle Lodge for drinks & food...the air conditioning was great since we were so hot by this point and it really was a wonderful respite and then we were ready to continue on our bike tour, E-bikes are awesome and I would totally do this again!!!!
Awesome! So glad you found Casa Ybel to cool off. It is a beautiful spot. Actually one of the oldest resorts on the island. Originally called “The Sisters” founded by a traveling evangelist named George Barnes in 1889. There was also a church called The Church of the Four Gospels
@@TheSanibelCaptivaGuide Casa Ybel is just beautiful and I love the history...why I wanted to go there! We will be returning soon, building a home in Cape Coral....I am completely in love with Sanibel & Captiva...!
thank you for the excellent review, will be visiting soon.
Thank you! Enjoy your visit!
Thank you!
You are welcome!
Are we permitted to dock our boat on the beach to go to the restaurants? Thanks!
The beaches are public - we anchor out and wade in.
Hi and thanks for the great review. If not staying at the resort but just eating at the beach side restaurants, would we also be able to enjoy the beaches and ocean on the restaurant properties after we eat?
You are so welcome! I believe you could walk down to the beach. The Sanibel beaches are all public.
You just wouldn’t be able to use the lounge chairs or pool or other amenities that are for the hotel guests.
Sorry meant are we able to anchor our boats on the beach so we can go to the restauarants adjacent to the beach?
Yes you can!
Are you the nick adams, photographer?
Sanibel yes. There Is another photographer with “my” name in Utah:)
Great job! When was this filmed? Hopefully no mask wearing
Thanks, yes, parts were filmed pre-mask.
Hey Steve...suck up the mask thing and walk it off...
@@pisbee don’t worry about me buddy I can walk it off, been walking off my whole 54 years. Mask needs to go!
@@stevepodraza6363 ...stay healthy my friend!
