Arunbhoomi news channel ,pls get your information correct before you cover something....dfo,district forest officer nahi Hota hein....it's divisional forest officer....dfo is not confined to one district he can handle more thn one district ...a dfo is equivalent to district magistrate....and enjoys judicial powers under indian forest act and indian wildlife act....he is way above superior thn all other district hods....many people get it wrong that dfo means district level officer...no it is not....and like any other district officer.... dfo doesn't report to dc....environment and forest is a independent department with it's own authority and powers.....ever heard of ifs ???
