Disaster Management department should work hard to tell people about the dangers during monsoon rainy seasons & people should be careful before housing in these areas.
Never own a land near River or at the hinge of the hills.

And let's not forget the topography, The whole Capital area is filled with landslide prone zones. Imagine yourself instead of them. Don't blame people lamely when they're already in so much pain.

It's a high time there should be proper itanagar city guide lines for constructing building. The topography of itanagar area is very much pron to landslide. And improper earth cutting makes it even more hazardous.

Till now more than 7 peoples died due to landslide in the capital complex, Itanagar. Place happened at Tigdo, Duimukh and Modi Rijo, Near 6miles of itanagar.

Nearly all of the newly exposed banks are of earth and appear to be virtually stone-free. That one vertical bank has to be at least 10 meters high and of compacted earth. Their eventual collapse is inevitable.
