Josh you already know what I’m gonna say, but keep it up man! Really appreciating the love that you’re giving us turf wearers/players especially with indoor season being upon us. I would love to see a personal top 5 indoor/turf for 2018 type of video. Just food for thought, you rock!
There typically isn't a huge difference in weight between turfs and indoors, but to answer your question, yes, you can wear indoors on turf. Expect to be sliding around though.
Finlly Jeff, you have provided us with the review of the new copa tango. (Thank you and great video) But now please do a review on the adidas x 18.3 tango.
hey i know you have already done a review on the magista ball but could please do a review and all of the different balls such as nike magia, strike and pitch
Turf are the small rubber bumps, used for the green carpet like surface. AG bottoms are still cleat studs but they are conical and hollow (like little tubes) for the fake grass with the rubber pellets
Yes I know he explained it in the video but I still think about it. Josh explained it very well and I now have an idea of which to choose for which scenario. For some reason it still doesn't make sense but I'll figure it out.
AG boots have aggressive traction on the deep artificial pitch that has the fake grass with rubber pellets (squishy rubber that you can pick up from the ground). Turf boots are made for the carpet grass, a thin layer of plastic/fake grass that is laid on top of a surface (i.e. concrete). Turf boots work on AG, but you have a little less traction than using an AG boot on AG. Some differences are the stud pattern, the outsole. AG boots have studs and often plastic outsole. Turf has rubber nubs and rubber outsole. Turf boots also have a lip at the front of the boot to increase durability on harsh artificial pitches.
Can I ask you something, kinda personal? Do you work alone or do you have like a team to help you ie editors? Do you live alone with your boots and cat? Any siblings? Parents?
Ever tried the mg version of the future netfit? Had a pair and injured myself pretty badly in them. Found out that I bought a whole size too big, afterwards. Honestly don’t know if I should blame myself, or the shoe, because I really liked the feeling, but the soleplate is tough.
Hey I was considering buying these shoes but you mentioned not ideal for people for wide feet. Any recommendations for turf shoes and cleat FG or AG. Thank much appreciated
When I use FG shoes on artificial grass I feel like my joints take a beating. My knees and ankles ache a bit. What shoes do you recommend for artificial grass for someone like me? The grass is the longer type grass with the little black rubber granules. A also don't like a high shoe because I used to be prone to rolling my ankle. Thanks!!!
Turf shoes on artificial grass won't provide as much traction, but they're definitely be easier on your joints. If you want more aggressive traction, an AG stud pattern would be the best thing.
@@Soccerreviewsforyou Thanks for responding. I actually ordered some Mizuno Morelia Neo 2 MIJ because I need FG shoes anyway. Gonna give them a shot on AG. If they feel too harsh, then I'll order some AG or TF shoes. Thanks for the great reviews!
So for $130 you can get this. Or you can get a turf version of the Ligera 4/Legend 7 Academy for $45. I know which one I would choose. I got the WC colourway and they are honestly so nice with SR4U light blue laces. Such a nice addition for not a lot of money. Josh which one would you choose? Both are calfskin but stuff like the tongue are lacking on the Tiempos. This is going to be interesting.
Soccer Reviews For You also I have an idea and I'd like to hear your thoughts on it. I'm not sure if you've seen the revised Phantom 3 Club tongue, but its now made of knitted material, do you think this would work on a take-down Tiempo to give it the look of the elite, and in your opinion does a knitted tongue add any extra lockdown?
I think the leather is softer on these, but once broken in, there isn't a huge difference between the two. I prefer the more traditional construction of the Ronaldinho boots as well, although there are more cheap materials used in comparison to the Copas. I'd give the slight edge to these, but they're also more expensive, so they should be a little nicer. Both are great options though.
Uhg never was a fan of the mundial team. Felt like I was wearing bricks on my feet! The heel is overwhelming! Felt like I was wearing heels or something. I was so shocked why people love them so much 🤔 the upper though .. was amazing. Super soft. I wish that upper went onto a sole like the OG copa indoors. The low brown rubber one. That’d be almost the perfect indoor boot 🤤 for me at least
Would you say that these are an improvement on the 18.1 and 17.1 turf shoes? I prefer a more padded feel and am also considering the mizuno wave cup tf shoes. Which one would you recommend?
what do these numbers 19.1, 19.4 and 20.3 mean? I've had dozen of boots when I was younger and now I started playing again with some friends and I'm looking to buy turf boots but I have no idea what these numbers represent.
If they release a black out or all black with white stripes version I would consider getting these. All "white" version will get so dirty really fast!!
Soccer Reviews For You Hi Josh, in my country i could not find any copa 19.1, so decided to buy one online. I tried put on my feet copa 19.3 with size 6.5us . The length was perfect but the width was kind of tight at middle of the sole of my feet. Is there any different between size of 19.1 tf and 19.3? If not should I choose 6.5 or 7 us?
dear Josh I am trying to buy a football shoe from a site you provided us on your Christmas video but the problem is the site has a free shipment code but it's not working. that's a problem for cuz I live here In Asia and If don't have free shipment it exceeds my budget. plz help me my game is just after winter break and u need a pair of shoes
I am confused still. Why do you need such an aggressive outsole when playing on a turf field? Turf fields because they are like shallow carpets, they already offer plenty of traction even with shoes that have zero studs.
I thought of the same, in the past I was using TF sole shoes all the time for this Turf field and felt pretty average with the traction. Lately I bought a pair of Mercurialx Proximo II CR7 Forged to greatness in IC sole (because they were $70!!!!!) and regretted in the very first match. Cutting and accelerating were just really off, you don't feel that explosive power from your ankles and that is 90% because of the traction of the IC sole when used on Turf.
There's still some depth to the surface. While it doesn't seem like much, those little nubs make a big difference in comparison to a flat soled indoor when it comes to traction. If you regularly play on turf, you definitely want a turf shoe.
Our turf fields do not have a roof over and we play at night. The moisture that accumulates is a problem and these nubs make a big diff for those split second changes in direction or start stop
Soccer Reviews For You Those are classics! But I’m looking for modern cleats. That fit almost the same as the mundial team. Not sure which brand I should go with for turf cleats?
Do you know why Adidas never sells their AG stud pattern boots in North America? They do in Europe. Just about every field around here is artificial grass, and it seems to tear up any firm ground boot I use on it, so I'm stuck buying turf shoes to play around here, and Adidas' turf offerings with laces seem to be diminishing each year.
I don't really have an answer to that question. They don't bring them in either because they don't want to, or because there isn't enough interest from stores to order the AG versions. Beyond that, I don't really have an explanation.
What's the point of having leather only at the front of the shoe? Leather boots were the best. I feel bad for these kids who don't know what a proper Predator is supposed to be. Also I miss the T90 line.
Different to basketball shoes. Boost in basketball has 0 bounce just absorbing and soft. (I don’t like it in bball shoes) bounce is has more bounce and tbh is better
If you want that super bouncy feel, like you get with an Ultraboost, the Boost needs to be pretty thick and left unsupported. That's fine for walking around or even jogging, but for running fast, jumping, landing and changing direction, it can unstable, which is the last thing you want in a basketball or even soccer shoe. That's why when they implement Boost in footwear other than running or lifestyle shoes, it doesn't have quite the same feel. Mainly because it can't.
Josh you already know what I’m gonna say, but keep it up man! Really appreciating the love that you’re giving us turf wearers/players especially with indoor season being upon us. I would love to see a personal top 5 indoor/turf for 2018 type of video. Just food for thought, you rock!
Thanks for proving whether they bounce or not
Life saving information there jasksonville
Is it okay to wear the turf version on normal indoor court?
Naim Tarmizi erm it's strongly not advised as the friction of your sole with wear off very fast. You should get street Soccer shoes
Japanese Jackson (Canadian Version), thank you for showing us that bounce upside down is bounce

Tip! When putting the sock liner back in, kind of fold it a little so I looks like a long U shape then it will go in much easier!
For sure would love more indoor boot reviews man. Great review as usual!
juanfran, is it ok to wear indoors on turf just because you enjoy the lighter weight even though you’re sacrificing traction?
There typically isn't a huge difference in weight between turfs and indoors, but to answer your question, yes, you can wear indoors on turf. Expect to be sliding around though.
I like the design, and upper is really soft.
and actually if you play with it, you can feel the bounce cushion-
Thanks for the review Josh!!
Josh, in brazilian big cities most pitches are TF. So, if you can make more TF analisys, including takedown models, that should be great
Finlly Jeff, you have provided us with the review of the new copa tango. (Thank you and great video) But now please do a review on the adidas x 18.3 tango.

Hey Jehovah, a little trick for getting the insoles back in, fold it like a burrito, works wonders. Cheers John✌️🏻
The flute reminds me of amazing world of gumball 😂
hey i know you have already done a review on the magista ball but could please do a review and all of the different balls such as nike magia, strike and pitch
Love ur punchline in every video
Would you review the Premier Turf when you get a chance. And how would you compare it with this Copa 19.1 and the Tiempo 8 in turf variation.
Awesome review , Jamey
I feel like they might make the + iteration with a boost midsole for indoor. Probably carry the midsole over from the predator 18+ indoor
Just get this but the blackout colour. Its nice and good.
Thank you 👍
Hey Josh, you think you might be able to get your hand on a pair of Nike Premier 2 Turf boots to review?

Hey Joseph, please make more indoor shoes reviews
Hey Josh what really is the difference with AG boots and turf boots? I never really found a difference.
Turf are the small rubber bumps, used for the green carpet like surface. AG bottoms are still cleat studs but they are conical and hollow (like little tubes) for the fake grass with the rubber pellets
Did you even watch?? He explains it throughout the video.
Yes I know he explained it in the video but I still think about it. Josh explained it very well and I now have an idea of which to choose for which scenario. For some reason it still doesn't make sense but I'll figure it out.
+@@wavy5654 sorry man, there is not a simpler answer than what he gave

Hey Josh,
Great video thanks!
How is the lockdown feel on these boots?
Is there any slippage?
Solid.
Can I ask you something, kinda personal?
Do you work alone or do you have like a team to help you ie editors?
Do you live alone with your boots and cat?
Any siblings? Parents?
Please review the puma king pro tt
thank u for the info Jameson
Wow I thought they would bounce but they didn't
Ever tried the mg version of the future netfit? Had a pair and injured myself pretty badly in them. Found out that I bought a whole size too big, afterwards. Honestly don’t know if I should blame myself, or the shoe, because I really liked the feeling, but the soleplate is tough.
Yusuf Kaya wrong sizing would cause issues. always get correct sizing or risk injury lel.
If they were a full size too big, I wouldn't blame the boots.
In Indonesia, 19.3 indoor are present soooo yeah..
loool imagine if it did bounce back up, i can imagine josh's expression
Hi Josh, are these better than Nike TiempoX Finale Pro? Thanks
How does it compare to the Tiempos Legend 8 Pro TF?
Hey I was considering buying these shoes but you mentioned not ideal for people for wide feet. Any recommendations for turf shoes and cleat FG or AG. Thank much appreciated
Has he done the X turf
SoccerReviewsForYou You Are The One

Just realised I’ve written an Essay. Whoops.
I personally like these more than the Tiempos that you're referring to, but from a value for money perspective, no doubt the Tiempos are a better buy.

wow i like that copa with that bounce is awesome
Hey Joey what's your opinion on turf shoes on indoor/concrete?
Depending on the specific turf shoe, you can get away with it, although it's never an ideal setup.
hey can I use these for cricket on firm naturat grass grounds. What about the durability of small gripper studs?
You can, although traction on grass won't be that good. Durability shouldn't be an issue.
Adidas Copa 19.1.5 Turf
Hi Josh,
Is the Adidas Copa 19.1 Exhibit indoor shoes true to size?
Thank you.
Yes.
but the sr4u laces actually do make the shoe look better
How do these compare to the Nike TiempoX Finale Ronaldinho? Another pair you have spoken highly about.

I lean more towards these.

I like these more than the previous 2 generations.

Higher the decimal. The more of a take down they are.
If they release a black out or all black with white stripes version I would consider getting these. All "white" version will get so dirty really fast!!
Hi Josh, please choose one, superfly 6 elite tf or this copa 19.1 tf?
I personally prefer the Copas, but they're both great. Just very different in regards to fit and feel.
Soccer Reviews For You Thanks a lots Josh. Hope you will release more good videos. I watch them every days. Help me a lots. Thanks again.

For wide feet. Adidas predator tango 19+ or copa 19.1. For turf. Which is better because I have really wide feet.
Neither of them are great options for really wide feet in my opinion. Maybe take a look at a pair of Adidas Mundial Team.

Every place I’ve been to has had turf.. I don’t think any facility I’ve been to has ever had artificial ground/grass.
Maybe it is just me or some false impression, but I find wearing Turf shoes comparing AG shoes on the same pitch makes my feet more tiring.....
Hi bro
Cool
