@@WarmBlizzard I'm pleased and surprised you answered, to be honest. It is true the vast majority of artists who do similar work do not credit those they sampled.
I love your album. And the cover art is beautiful. I love the work you did ! And knowing you sampled others does not change this. I love your album for what it is.
But I would appreciate your album even more if I could check the original samples, all by themselves. To me, it then makes your work, your view on it, feel all the more special. It wouldn't "break the atmosphere" at all.
Beyond that, I feel like it's only fair to give credit where it's due. I feel a bit robbed when people who used samples just, dont say a word about the work of others. It becomes harder to connect with the artist. And, yes, a bit harder to enjoy their work.
