As a Buddhist I loved seeing recognition by another religion, so many religions anymore just shut out other religions. Remember to keep an open mind everybody, we all have our personal beliefs.
I think Buddhism is good, but some buddhists are killing muslims of all ages in Burma. I think Islam is good, but some muslims are extremists and terrorists. I also think that Christianity is good, but many groups and individuals have killed other people of other faiths. I guess we should not judge religion or belief by its followers. this is not meant to incite a debate or discussion. just sharing my thoughts. Respect is the key!
Creative North if there are "buddhists" killing others then they are not true buddhists, my friend. The very first precept, or rule, in Buddhism is to "abstain from harming living beings" including people, animals, etc.
This was incredible! As an American, right now I'm pretty depressed. it's really really nice to see such a beautiful, positive, secluded place that is going to stay that way, no matter what. It looks so special and beautiful, and I've never even heard of it before. I got chills and was crying throughout all of this. I wanna go there. Thank you for sharing this.
If the guy was from the future and wanted to let people know how to save mankind... then surely he could have just told people rather than painting weird cryptic pictures on the wall...
"Painting the pictures". Here (in California), we have the stories of those who came before us - thousands of years ago - etched into the rocks and cave walls. One spot (in L.A.) served as an astronomical observatory. The spoken language(s) are lost in time. Humqaq(The Raven Flies) is a unique place - The Western Gate. Now known as Vandenberg Air Force Base, it was where the people would begin their next journey into the celestial heavens and leave their tired bodies behind.
This video is absolutely amazing. coupled with the music not being too intrusive while the guide shows around and gives explanation of the temples. very well done editing I see you take your time and it shows. This is your best one yet. Very Very well done. Can't wait for tomorrow.
Seriously, this is just amazingly beautiful! And so much little details and stories behind it all! Love your videos, you're one of my biggest inspirations as a travel vlogger :)
Not sure what to think about this, yes the place is stunning, but basically those people are considered a cult, so not really happy that he's promoting that...
I would not consider it promoting, more like explaining/understanding. He's not telling anyone to join, and I doubt anyone will convert to it after watching this. But having compassion for others and understanding their reasons behind what they do is important and this video does that for me.
omg the drawing are so amazing, and for it to have a deep meaning making it a plus point. i don't know how people can make something like that it's so beautiful
Thank you, Louis, for sharing this amazing vlog. Actualy, I just saw on internet that this incredible place is at 5 hours by car from my place! I go on North Italy every summer, and this year, I absolutly want to visit and feel the vibes of Damanhur, on the way. Thanks!
That was amazing ! Thanks for making me visit those magical places , I really miss travelling , but sadly my health is not allowing me to travel anymore even if I am in my 40th , life at least allowed me to travel for any years before I got disabled .
Loving this blog. I'm from a small town close to Venice and I didn't know about this temple in Turin. Def going to visit. Thank you Louis for this amazing vlog
Wow I love the idea that there's people in this world who are so completely open to any religion and belief, and actually like to consider other options and discuss human kinds fundamentals within their own communities and to outsiders as well. What a free place to live and flourish in. 🌎💚
Absolutely incredible!!! I can't believe all the different rooms and such intricate art and sculptures, amazing! All this created in such little time is unbelievable. They seem like such interesting people. I love that they acknowledge all religions, not like "Scientology" and other religions that don't acknowledge different faiths. I thank you for this awesome vlog!
although cults and smaller religious groups like this seem so amazing and interesting, I can't help but think of the possible oppression or mental abuse/brainwashing that could potentially be occurring?
Lily Cox yeah, you should look into scientology. You will probably find it interesting, but you may of already researched it. Watch the Louis Theroux documentary on it if u have the chance.
I'm just mind blown. It's 1am, and I'm going to do some research about this place. I've never hear of it before. Thank you for sharing your experience there with us Louis! Definitely one of my favorite vlog, can't go over this place, incredible.
Giorgio Tsoukalos of Ancient Aliens should pay a visit to this temple. Good job Louis for sharing this artistically exceptional work of architecture to your viewers. :)
Great vid, thanks for sharing, and for no silly comments during the filming. It makes all the difference seeing this through the eyes of someone who is spiritual.
This is absolutely fascinating Louis! Thank you for sharing this community and their beliefs with us in this vlog. I would never have known it existed otherwise. Very very interesting and that temple is just mind blowing - literally amazing with the architecture, paintings and extensive detail in every aspect of that place. Incredible.
We need more of this in our world. What the founder gave humanity is very very important. It’s not a process to understand this to me. Even though I am on the other side of the world, I so get it. Absolutely wonderful.
wow! I think this is the best video you have put out. my mind is blown.... I really want to go explore the temple now! so fascinating and so much to learn !
Cool! I've heard about Damanhur before, very interesting to get an inside look at the place. They've sure done an amazing job in constructing their community.
Hi Louis! I've watched your video's for about three years now. Recently i stumbled upon a channel called "The Lion Whisperer". This awesome guy named Kevin Richardson has a lion sancturary in South Africa. He worked in his 20's at the famous "Lion Park" where you can pet lion cubs. Thruth is once they grow up they all put down by canned hunting. He saved dozens of lions and has an very emotional bond with him. He also works with GoPro and maybe on your next adventure to South Africa, you can help raise awareness for this mayestic animal and team up with him? Much love from Belgium, you inspire me a lot!!!
I love all the hidden doors and the staircase that just opened into the ground! Always wanted a secret passage somewhere in my house since Harry Potter :D
I'm an Egyptian so when I first read "Damanhur" I immediately thought of an Egyptian city with the same name, so I googled it and I was right.. It turned out that "Damanhur in Italy is named after the Egyptian city of Damanhur which was the site of a temple dedicated to Horus."
One of the most amazing places you've shown us so far. So fascinating and beautiful. Just lovely. >--- Family of Four Vlogging our Way through Europe ---
I'm personally not a very religious or spiritual person, but I'm very intrigued by the community and their way of life and everything. Whether the paranormal, time-traveling and stuff is true or not, the peacefulness they have is very inspiring, I have to admit. If they are happy and peaceful and believe in that stuff, then more power to them. And not to mention, the art in that temple was definitely a bit odd but absolutely breathtaking.
Damanhur is the best!!!! I go there constantly and it is my home! The philosophy, the people, and the magic are indescribable. You just need to GO and experience it!!! Do the New Life Program if you can get away for 3 months or do the Amine Program for 10 days.- THANK YOU for doing such a beautiful job!
Such a beautiful and fascinating temple. I do believe that this world is a lot more mind blowing than we believe it to be. Just remember that we are on a space rock hurtling through space, and we are made from star dust.. that's a scientific fact, and in itself so crazy to think about. I have my own theories on why we are all here and this place does resonate with me on a few different levels. Their beliefs are not that far from what I have figured out on my own... Always keep an open mind. I would love to visit with them myself to have a look at the paintings. The stain glass work and stone carvings are absolutely beautiful ❤️
ATTENTION PLEASE!! Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, brothers and sisters, uncles and aunties, nephews and nieces doctors and nurses, neighbors and colleagues, students and graduates. I really don't have anything to say. Thanks for your attention.
8:21 I was worried this might be the Blair Witch moment where Louis walks in & everybody is standing motionless, facing the wall, looking away from him in the corners... Don't know about anyone else, but I as relieved!
We were just here last weekend to attend a wedding ceremony. (their marriage contract is only for one year at a time) We did this tour and oddly enough, they did NOT allow any cameras inside or around the temple.
Wow, the Temple of Humankind really reminds me of a temple / community centre in an amazing book called City of Refuge by Starhawk... Very inspiring and relevant to humankind at this time! It's the sequel to another AMAZINGLY inspiring book called The Fifth Sacred Thing, also by Starhawk. Worth checking out, for anyone who happens to see this comment! ;)
As a Buddhist I loved seeing recognition by another religion, so many religions anymore just shut out other religions. Remember to keep an open mind everybody, we all have our personal beliefs.
Jordanology my favourite comment on this video
Jules thank you!
No problem! I share a lot of Buddhist beliefs myself, and I want to be Buddhist ever since I had world religions taught to me at school

Dude Damanhur looks so amazing! It would be a dream to go out and meet this community! Definitely one of my favorite vlogs of yours Louis!
+TheTravelingClatt thanks man! Stayed up all night editing :)
FunForLouis Mind. Blown.

TheTravelingClatt haha! great minds man! we should try and get a crew together and go!
RO3 no...he appreciates his FRIENDS videos. you GTFO.
That whole temple was completely mind blowing. The thought, work, and detail that went into that place is unbelievable
Thank you so much Louis for this amazing video, you are truly talented in expressing your adventures. Hope to see you soon in Damanhur! 🌞✨🙏🏼
This was incredible! As an American, right now I'm pretty depressed. it's really really nice to see such a beautiful, positive, secluded place that is going to stay that way, no matter what. This vlog was so exciting, I absolutely love it!
I've said this before, but the best thing about Louis's vlogs is he nearly always manages to find adorable animals :)
If the guy was from the future and wanted to let people know how to save mankind... then surely he could have just told people rather than painting weird cryptic pictures on the wall...
TriTri Yeah well you know what our society is like. The thing is with intelligent people, is that they sound crazy to dumb, ignorant people.
TriTri how would you do that if you didn't know the language or find a way to express it

Writing random indecipherable stuff is just another way of saying nonsense
At least we know that we'll have another 600 years of humanity tho.
This has to be one of my most favorite vlogs! That temple is insanely beautiful and more fascinating than any museum I have ever seen!
This vlog seriously gave me the chills. Just beautiful!
This video is absolutely amazing. coupled with the music not being too intrusive while the guide shows around and gives explanation of the temples.

That's so cool! He used mine a couple weeks ago (the Slovenia vlog) and it's just such a cool surprise to turn on the video and see yourself there!
THis vlog was honestly awesome!
Not sure what to think about this, yes the place is stunning, but basically those people are considered a cult, so not really happy that he's promoting that...
Yeah, it's my favourite part about traveling - finding weird an unusual places. Louis did a great job explaining this cult to all of us!
I would not consider it promoting, more like explaining/understanding. He's not telling anyone to join, and I doubt anyone will convert to it after watching this. But having compassion for others and understanding their reasons behind what they do is important and this video does that for me.
Thanks for showing us around. Very impressing!
This is incredible. I had never heard of Damanhur before now. Thanks for sharing Louis.

Louis, this might be my favourite vlog of yours. This place is amazing and absolutely mindblowing! I definitely want to go visit some day.
One of the most beautiful vlogs I've ever seen. Truly astounding.

Random Cat at 3:12 😂 too freaking cute. And that temple... holy cow 😮
The Endless Adventure Louis' reaction 😂 guys I found a cat...a really fluffy cat 🐱
That was amazing ! Thanks for making me visit those magical places , I really miss travelling , but sadly my health is not allowing me to travel anymore even if I am in my 40th , life at least allowed me to travel for any years before I got disabled .

Giorgio Tsoukalos of Ancient Aliens should pay a visit to this temple. Good job Louis for sharing this artistically exceptional work of architecture to your viewers. :)
lol Tsoukalos will definitely have a different interpretation of the things he will see in that temple
he'd be interested on the time travel stuff and those codes or whatever are those inscriptions and designs about the future
oh no not giorgio! hahaha
I don't think he'd be satisfied with the answers that he'll get from those women
Great vid, thanks for sharing, and for no silly comments during the filming. It makes all the difference seeing this through the eyes of someone who is spiritual.

This looks so relaxing and if I could go in there by myself I would meditate constantly for decades

Great video. Thanks for documenting a place that few know exists. Keep creating man! Have a good night (or day) everyone.
This place is definitely on my bucket list ! Thanks Louis!
So this is where the crazies live.

This place looks exquisite! The work gone into it is amazing! Definitely a place to visit 👍
Cool! I've heard about Damanhur before, very interesting to get an inside look at the place. They've sure done an amazing job in constructing their community.
I feel strangely overwhelmed after watching this. Pretty incredible stuff
Incredible, what an amazing place! Great job on the video work!!
That temple gave me goosebumps. It looked pretty surrealistic and strange but still magical
The temple is an amazing piece of art!!
Louis is learning the English language now, I really liked his channel, it's very well produced, and the photograph used is simply wonderful.

Amazing Vlog, one of the best ones, so far 👌
Only 15 years to build all it? Absolutely incredible!

One of the most fascinating vlogs you've done! Thank you for sharing! Great to see positivity being spread :-)
I'm a spiritualist and astrophysics enthusiast, so i believe in the beliefs behind that temple
It's ok to not agree with what this community say but please guys don't offend or judge them for really no reason.
This is something I honestly need to see in my life
Those people were tripping on shrooms when they made this.
Titty wanking Ballsack
Nah man, didn't you hear?! Their founder time traveled back from 600 years in the future and showed them the light! lol
+Titty wanking Ballsack apparently no drugs were involved!
+Titty wanking Ballsack I think he's on shrooms while he came up with his name xD
No offence
I can smell a cult when I see one, coming out of one myself. Just please be careful Louis!
Dijana Evans that did spring to mind. I am fascinated by this stuff, but if your not careful and mentally strong, it can be overwellming
I just love anything spiritual. Such a beautiful place.
This is a bucket list place! So amazing!
I'm Italian and I didn't know the existence of this place, stunning footage!
Love these vids they cheer me up 🙂
thanks for the discovery Louis !
Wow! This is soooo amazing, #MINDBLOW and then @3:07 "Guys I found a cat... A really fluffy cat." lol
The stained glass in this temple is just amazingly beautiful.

HI HANAN ABANAAHDNANA

Very well done and documented Louis

just because a hippie says something with purpose, doesn't make it true.
true... thank you.
that is exactly why you have to experience everything within yourself and by yourself.
pouring of the empty into the void-gurdjieff
