I'm afraid their trees won't make it too long if they continue to raise crops this close to them, they should've left patches of grass just around the tree and made their beds in the rest of the space. That way they would still use the shade without putting the trees in danger.

@@alkasoli4002 . Well it all depends on the kind of farming and the focus of the farmer, doesn't it. Renenerative farming, no till, permaculture, agroforestery systems... Understanding natural systems and working with instead of against it is certainly possible and the way of the future. I mean, where did yóur food come from? Yóu benefit!

don't believe all you hear, in France government give so much money for small scale farms, especially for young people, it can be double. It is just a way to take money from the gov, and if you make profit from the farm is just a bonus.

Ask your mom how much would an acre of whatever she was farming make per year, compare that to an acre of palm oil.
Stop saying stupid things that can be easily rebutted.
The Netherlands are the best farmers in the world. They are not about small scale farming.

As an African, I grew up on a village before I moved to the city for studies. During rainy season at the village we harvest sorghum, watermelon, sugarcane, traditional nuts, maize meal, beans etc and herding livestock. All villagers work during rainy season and in winter we get to eat the food that we have produced. As a child we did all chores that anyone else do at the village such as fetching water few kilometres away from home and collecting firewood in the forest. Our life dependent on agriculture, we hardly bought food from the supermarkets as they were far in town and we had everything we needed apart from basic stuff that our grandma would buy once or twice a year such hygienic products, we also used some special roots from a thick tree to brush our teeth. We had traditional candy from certain type of trees. The only time we get to eat food such as rice, sweets or have soft drink was during Christmas or when there's a wedding or if someone from the city came to visit us. I just completed my postgraduate studies. I have always loved nature and gardening. I would like to start a small scale farm in the future, maybe after I work for few years in the field of study, give back to the community, travel and then move back to the village or buy a farm. In the meatime, if it was not for the pandemic I am planning on volunteering to help out with gardening or backpack. This video has just inspired me more 💚 Also, don't mind my English. God bless

It is beyond me how it can be warmer in Canada along the boarder areas......that’s it, I’m moving !!!

I dream of the day I would start gardening on a small farm. I do not plan on selling my crops. Just spend my days digging and planting and harvesting. It is therapeutic and anybody with anxiety or depression can benefit from this back to nature approach. I found peace when I started gardening.

I had the same idea of growing crops with trees spaced out sufficiently to allow crops to grow below.. so cool .
Recently I came across turmeric vertical farm , now this ...I need to act fast before all my ideas in farming are already implemented 😄

    • @kushalhn515

I actually got that idea when I noticed my tomato plants growing in the terrace garden that gets too much sun and water produces good number of big tomatoes. But it's flavour and taste isn't so great .
The one grown in the balcony gave tasty but few small ones cause it received too little sun .
Then I thought maybe the reason most of the store bought tomatoes here in India are not so great . Then I got the idea that growing tomato plants with leguminous trees spaced scarcely in farms should help .
      So it's called forest farming .. I see .

Bon travail mon ami, vraiment un beau jardin/petite ferme. Here in Australia we have had 10 40c plus days this and the tomatoes, zucchini and cucumber were cooking on the vines! I have tried growing vegies in my orchard but I found that during summer the trees were taking too much of the water and nutrients. The winter garden was abundant when the trees were dormant so I moved the main vegetables out into one of the river paddocks.. unfortunately often exposed to our harsh summer sun. Maybe your quick green cropping is the answer?
By the way, I was talking to an elderly French market gardener near Angers in the Loire, and she said the perfectly balanced garden is one third vegetables, one third flowers and one third trees. And her tomatoes...sacre bleu!..it was like eating a tender steak. J'adore la France! Bon chance a vous et la famille.

here in Austria we had this year similar Problems our Tomatoes got so hard damaged by heat that we had to give them into waste and our potatoes nearly died in early july because it was not raining only with giving them water with an liquid manure sprayer we was able to save them till rain was comming
