Hey Accurate. When I saw the patch off, I thought I was watching an old video - had to look at the date again. Now you've got to change your logo again. Lols. Glad to see you getting better with every video.
Dude i gotta say - its been a while since i saw one of your videos and that was relatively shortly after your surgery and seeing you like this blew me away, cause of how good youve recovered! Awesome to see! Keep going strong!
You are a true testament of God’s blessings! You look great and healthy brother. Thanks for being a true inspiration to all. You tenacity and perseverance is unmatched. Stay safe and may God continue to bless you 🙏🏽
So happy for you, your family, friends, and all of us. Seeing you heal and make music again is inspirational. Thank you for summoning the courage to share your journey with the world.
Yeah, this is such a legit option for semi-pro home studios, for small studios with just a decent amount of inputs needed, for anyone who can afford such versatility compared to the standard 2in-2out options. Happy to see you getting better and better mate, keep it safe and creative! 👊
Dude, I haven’t seen your videos in a bit but your recovery is awesome! I actually had to double check because I thought this was an old video but it wasn’t. So happy for you!
Many thanks for the in depth review. I currently use the small Audiofuse but can see how this larger model with increased connectivity options will benefit my set-up. Best wishes for a continued recovery.
So happy to see you recovering. Keep-on the videos. The Audiofuse Studio is interesting but I'll probably wait for the Audiofuse Mk2 :) :) I like the audio fuses for their built-in USB hub, allowing to connect an iOS device to your audio ecosystem easily.
I'm so happy for you Accurate seeing your recovery these past few months has been inspiring. I can't imagine the hell you been through to get to this point but I'm just happy you're still here making videos. Also... I laughed out loud when you whipped out the Audiofuse 83! Talk about overkill bro 🤣🤣
About the Audiofuse I'm a bit confused cause it has "only" 4 mic preamps, which means not enough for a trio recording, too many for a producer situation. Of course, has the ADAT, but then I would buy directly a huger 8 mic preamps interface right?
Yeah, it’s not really enough for hooking up mics for a drum kit plus more instruments, you’re right... it’s kinda perfect for me with a lot of line level stuff connected though. The audiofuse 8 pre is also a standalone audio interface as it is so... One option could be to just use that and get 8 mic pre’s. I guess the AF Studio isn’t for everyone
The side of your face drastically increased in functionality i thought it would've been permanent given what happened? Your truly awesome overcoming everything that you've been through and recovered as well as you did. Keep making us awesome videos.
Good to see the recovery coming along, Accurate! And as far as a bass is concerned, a Fender, Squier or Ibanez would be a good place to start. Ibanez basses can be acquired for $200 USD and sound AWESOME. Same as Squiers!
20+ years in the game as an indie multi-production artist & singer, Arturia's AudioFuse Studio interface was a no-brainer decision I made in 2021. Before this the interfaces I was using was literally driving me insane and was proving worthless. To some points made in this video, it is definitely future proofing your sound operations by investing into this awesome piece of equipment----but this also depends on your monitor speakers. I have some of the best in the lands----of which I also invested in over 20 years ago. Cheers to your best sound.
Hey Accurate! I would highly reccomend getting a bass - even if you can't play, its a really good way of evolving your sound and understanding how bass's should feel in beats! Just playing around with one over beats is great. - Also I would have loved some b-roll/footage of the Audiofuse in use as im looking to invest in a better interface!
Thanks! That’s exactly what I’m thinking too. I can play a few children songs on a guitar but that’s about it. I think a bass could make a lot of difference no matter what. Hopefully I’ll put some time into practicing too :p I know what you’re saying about the video. I wanted to try a more personal angle with this video and not get too stuck in the specs and what not. A few nicer B roll shots would really make sense though, you’re right. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate that. 🙏
So happy to see you getting better! Buy a Fender Jazz Bass or a Precision. Classic sounds, resell value is great (not rational, but a fact). Most of the stuff you sample use one of these. If you're unsure, buy a Squier, which is an in-house cheaper brand of Fender. In this case you can buy one that has both type of pickups for a lot less money. Best of luck!
Hey, you look great. I was stoked to see you without the eyepatch. Iám realy happy for you. And i think your speech is way better than it was a couple of weeks ago, ain´t it.
Thanks for the video - I’ve been eyeing this interface for a while now. As someone who’s dabbled on bass guitar for about 30 years, I’d recommend a Fender Mustang bass PJ. Short scale makes it relatively easy to get comfortable with, and the pickup combination is pretty versatile.
Mannnnnnnnnnn!!!First thing I noticed was your missing eye patch that I can't lie I actually like,But I'm so happy your are making progress in your recovery, good health for you means amazing content for us...God Bless You...Now lemme watch the video 🙂
Hi Mr. Accurate, can you tell me if there’s a way to mix headphone output to balance between Direct Monitoring & DAW? The Rev2 has a dedicated knob. Great vid - I’m subbing right now. Thx!
UPDATE: I picked up a STUDIO and its super easy to make a custom mix (CUE1 or CUE2). Do you ever experience a drop out of the mic volume where you need to crank it? I’m still learning my new setup so it could be user error but I didn’t really change anything when it happened…. Great vid and thx again 🙏
Can't recommend Sire by Marcus Miller enough in terms of a budget-friendly bass but with pro specifications. A friend of mine has a P7 and i've gotten to try some of them at stores and they're always top-notch instruments.
buying a bass definitely depends on your budget. The Made in Mexico Fender Standard Jazz and Precision basses are great buys used. Sire makes great models in that price range as well. I'd start narrowing down by listening to samples of jazz, precision and various humbucker basses, as those are the three big categories and will drastically change your sound. I'm a jazz bass kind of person, as they're really versatile and sound great with everything turned all the way up.
Great video and great to see you recovering more and more from your surgery. I've been looking at the Audiofuse Studio and will get it when I have the money - thanks for your insights! Regarding basses: I play a Music Man Stingray for more then ten years now and are still absolutely happy with the sound. I love the warm sound of the active pickup, but the Stingrays are quite pricey. I also like the Fender Jazz and Precision Basses from Tone and Playstile, but have never owned one, just tried them in stores. Might be worth a look as some models are more affordable. Keep up the good work!
The best bass guitars I've ever played are the Marcus Miller basses. Their price ranges span from 3000SEK to 30000SEK depending on how much you're willing to spend. They're all fantastic! :)
Marcus Miller? That brand keeps coming up as a suggestion just like the fender jazz bass. I’ll definitely dig into that. I don’t think I wanna pay a lot over the 3000sek so if Marcus Miller has a nice budget instrument that’d be cool. Thanks a lot for watching
G&L L-2000 bass. It can do anything from deep and smooth to aggressive, so many tone options and can work both active or passive. Look for a (used ?) made in Japan one. Excellent quality at a fairly reasonable price. Also, they look cool with the bad-ass pickups and mini toggles.
I would join all the suggestions to get the bass guitar as holding a real instrument is setting the mind into a different state. Also, a fuzz or drive pedal is a great pre-DAW tone shaping device. Something like Elektron Analog Drive with a built in EQ and MIDI integration is a versatile studio tool especially if you add an expression pedal but whatever. Almost anything else can be set in DAW - limiter, compression, reverb, delay, filter, etc.
As other have said Harley Benton is fine for what you want. Anything more is overkill. Get one of their Precision bass copies. They’ll have a P somewhere in the code. Don’t get a Jazz bass as I think the sound of the pick up won’t be what you’re after. P bass just gives you a nice phat old school sound. There’s loads of reviews on Thomann you can’t go wrong and they look nice. You’ll have lots of fun. Bass is very immediate and also great if you play a line then sample and filter it 90s style. Last saw your OP-1 video so nice to see your health improving.
I would personally use a amp simulator like guitar rig or the bass plugin from Neural DSP for your bass guitar. Just my opinion but worth looking into and will save you space in the studio.
That’s true. The bass amp will come further down the line... Judging from what guitar rig is capable of with other audio, I’m sure it ha slows a bass guitar really well. Thanks for watching
You look healthy, happy, and inspired. Im very happy to see you push through recovery.
Stay up big homie
For a second I thought I was watching an old video, lookin good big man, keep it up!
Thank you so much!
I’m not done with it all but I’m definitely getting there! I’m glad it shows:)
Hey Accurate. When I saw the patch off, I thought I was watching an old video - had to look at the date again. Now you've got to change your logo again. Lols. Glad to see you getting better with every video.
Haha! Thanks a lot! I’m glad to hear that :D
I’m getting there, one day at a time!
Right, the logo... Didn’t think of that 😜

I'm very happy that you getting better now.
Thanks! Me too 😁
Good to see you looking better.
I try my best :)
Great to see you and really useful thanks!
First time watcher. Came here because I'm thinking about the AudioFuse Studio. Hope you're feeling better, and I suggest getting a Fender P Bass.
You're a really tough guy man. I'm glad you're keeping the work on, you're inspiring
About the Audiofuse I'm a bit confused cause it has "only" 4 mic preamps, which means not enough for a trio recording, too many for a producer situation. Of course, has the ADAT, but then I would buy directly a huger 8 mic preamps interface right?

Hey accurate long time sub first time commenting, glad to see you’re healing up, stay safe and keep up the good work 🙏🏻
Thanks for taking the time :)
I appreciate that. I’m really making progress here. Hard work and patience!

Hello. I have an entry level Yamaha bass and it is really fun to play. Might be worth looking into. Doesn't cost too much but plays well.
Yamaha you say? I’ll look into that! Thanks a lot!
OMG you're looking good these days buddy! 😭🔥
Bro, you're looking amazing ;)
Glad you are doing better
Fan va gött att det går framåt!

That Audiofuse is really something. Would be nice to hav one, but don't really need atm.
SQUIER CLASSIC VIBE JAZZ BASS! Great price, punchy, and even a lot of professionals take it on stage.
Looking good bro :)
Damn! My Apollo is looking at me funny now! LOL
:p
Looking good, dude.
A human body is a big wonder. Damn you look like normal again. Woow. You speak faster and clearer. I am more then impressed. ❤️👍🏽

完全じゃ無いかもしれないけど回復して良かったです
Hey man, you look great!
Great overview! And I see from your Harley Benton video u did get a bass
Thanks. And yeah, I did. Made a video on it some time ago... It sucks but I love it :D
Ibanez soundgear for the bass, may as well get a five string for that extra low... very good to see you are recovering well!

If you primarily do hip hop get a 4 string jazz bass! Will work well for you! Glad your in good health!!
Don't be self conscious homie. You're looking healthier than ever! It's not even noticable 🤙
Thinking about buying one of these, it's just a shame it's not Thunderbolt. I wonder if Arturia will introduce it sometime? 😎
