Cruiseman your videos are typically so thorough I am surprised you did not mention this... The mount for the entire system (including the boom mic.) Can that be slide to any location along the side of the helmet, or does it have a fixed location it has to be in? The reason I ask is it would, obviously, move where that boom mic is in relation to your face etc. Second would it be best to have it directly in front of your mouth, or off to the side?
Lastly, if you please, do you notice it in your helmet? IE do you have a claustrophobic feeling in there now? Thanks a lot for this great Video, I have decided I really need this set up, so it is nice to see how easy it is to do the job! Regards,
I have the 04 1800, installed your elite headset, no problem, except I have very poor radio volume to the head set. This has always been a problem, how can I improve it?
I purchased two sets of these headsets from J&M and I must say I'am very disappointed in the sound quality. I have the F6B base set at the max and the treble at the min and the sound quality is still very high pitched and not the quality of sound I was expecting. The mic works great for communicating with my wife. Perhaps my expectation is too great, never had communication on a motorcycle. I also have the same helmet you are using in this video. I moved my headset to my Bell helmet and the sound quality is about the same. Not very impressed. Your videos are awesome.

I did get them with it. It was pretty easy thankfully
