4141 is at the Bush memorial library, it was picked up from Houston by UP 4014 when it was making its way through Texas, I have a video of it on my channel. At the end you get a glimpse of 4141.

For those of you wondering, 4141 is at the Bush Memorial Library. It was picked up in Houston and taken there by UP 4014 when it made its way through Texas in 2019.

I saw the engine in person when it came to Houston. So my Big Boy visit got a surprise bonus with 4141. I never expected to see the engine in person, but I am glad that I did.

4141 was not put in Bush library in 2019. The 4141 was sent to North Little Rock Arkansas after the big boy tour. In March 2021 it was sent down to Houston where it was paired up with UP 1943 and left Spring, which is just north of Houston. I caught it on its last run heading to College Station in March 2021. It is currently there and it is currently tarped. The tarp will be removed when the enclosure is built around it and that is estimated to be in 2024.

Excellent presentation, had tears in my eyes. Lionel's choice to have "hail to the chief"as the last song in their montage is plain phenomenal. Thanks eric

I was lucky enough to get a pass through tour of the interior of the Kenefick as well as some other cars in the 4014's consist when it stopped in Duluth. Some still shots of the interior are imbedded in my video of the 4014. It's a pretty neat car and the friend's I were with referred to it as "the President's (of UP) car."

All I have to say was I really wish the ad didn't interrupt in the middle of George HW Bush talking in the dining car Sound feature but out of the presence George was a really nice person I know from experience when the 4141 was inaugurated he personally got to drive that engine in reverse and blew the horn at all the crossings

Don't blame Chinese manufacturing and craftsmanship for the flag being incorrect- if they can get the paint schemes correct on all of the cars and locomotives that they do - which are often quite comlicated- then they can get an American flag right too. It's probably an issue in the Lionel design end of things.

I worked for UP when they started getting them Heritage engines, now I didn't operate/run it as UP would put them engines 2nd or 3rd out in the consist----- but I did go back and take a dump in it.
It gives me a little comfort to know one of my road apples was floating around in that toilet tank as the train slowly chugged its way to College Station. It is an unwritten rule on the nations railroads that one never drops a log on the lead engine when there is more than one unit in the consist, this rule doesn't apply to female engineers or "lady" conductors who won't go back because they are afraid the wind will mess up their hair.

Thanks for the informative video. Lionel certainly did a good job recreating the Bush train. Did they include extra end-of-car diaphragms for the passenger cars similar to what Atlas does with their Trainman passenger cars? Doing that would certainly improve the overall appearance of the train in my opinion. Someone needs to design and market full width diaphragms for O scale streamlined passenger cars. If made out of foam they might even be tight curve friendly.

Eric, I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation, and I appreciate the up-close camera work is spectacular and captures the essence of this well-crafted model set. Thank you for spending the time and playing the recorded sounds. I wish I could locate a powered Legacy George Bush SD70ACE 4141 SKU 2033310 that operates on O36. And there is another model, SKU 6-34618, but I don't know the differences. Are you familiar with the different item numbers. And do you know where I am able to locate this engine?
