AC Aftermarket Condenser leaks under vacuum, but not under pressure .

  • NYLOG I manually applied to the mating surfaces as it was losing vacuum to stop the vacuum leak.
    NYLOG is nothing more than a very, very thick refrigerant oil that you cannot pull vacuum through openings once applied .
    NYLON DOES NOT GET HARD IT IS NOT A ADHESIVE. IT IS NOT A GASKET MATERIAL.
    NYLOG does one thing really good it stops vacuum leaks, and protects rubber O-rings

    I got an aftermarket alternator from Amazon (Chineese) and was defective, lost a lot of time and money, NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

    Big deal. It holds under pressure. Leaks only under vacuum in a place which sees only pressure all the time - being gas,vapour or liquid pressure. If you have time and of course only if you want you can write why is this crictical.

      @@petar443 that means to continue this whole time that you’re trying to draw a vacuum, it is pulling in the air through the vacuum leak seal at the condenser
      So that means when it comes time to add refrigerant pressure, you are now mixed and contaminated with air and moisture .
