I am like a year older than Skylar. lol. He graduated a year later than I did at the same high school. Glad you all had a chance to interview him. Didn't get a chance to see the OG Spring Awakening, but I watched clips online and it was spectacular! Great cast and storytelling!!! I met Lea and John Gallagher Jr. last year in NY.
Omg to the guy who’s wife died, I have been there. 7 years ago I lost my fiancé of 10 years and he had a brother. I was super close to their family, especially his mom and female cousin. When he died his brother and I would always make a point to hang out, and I felt like it was really good for me in my grief. We got really close and we always talked, and seriously the trauma bonding thing is real! We would be texting and sharing things that we wouldn’t necessarily talk about to just anyone because we were becoming so close. Then at some point he started coming onto me and saying things that just crossed the “just friends” line and I’m not gonna lie, I participated as well. The whole thing made me feel dirty in a way I’d never felt before and haven’t since. I felt so disgusted with myself for letting it get to that point, I felt small, and pathetic and I missed him and I was so sad, it was beyond bearable. I’m not proud of it but after a few weeks I just cut him off with no explanation because of the shame I felt. I feel horrible that I did it that way because he didn’t deserve to be ghosted, but I couldn’t be brave and ask him to change his behavior or even tell him why I couldn’t see him anymore. It’s really sad. 😢
I agree with the girls and Rob that it should be okay but I also know how it feels in your body knowing this secret. Two years sounds like it’s a good amount of time to have gone by but honestly it probably still feels fresh to you. I don’t necessarily have any advice for you, that’s not why I’m typing out this huge thing lol. I’m just saying I feel for you. ❤

they only recently started recording video of the podcast, and I believe that was one of the first episodes they did of the podcast so you would have to find it on spotify or wherever you choose to listen to your podcasts!
