First, take into account that all three engines must be operating at peak performance, a rare occurrence. Two, the density altitude of the operating area affects lift. According to our spies, the CH-53K helicopter is made by order of the us marine corps and will become the main military vehicle of this connection in the future - it is planned to purchase up to 200 vehicles in total. It can lift up to 16 tons of cargo or 55 passengers. A special feature of the CH-53K is its high price - even with serial production, each helicopter costs about $ 87 million, and the first copies cost up to $ 130 million apiece. This is comparable to the price of the fifth-generation f-35 fighters of various modifications - and makes the King Stallion the most expensive helicopter in the world.

This is a huge amount of misconception. Payload of 36000lb, 40000lb whatever... It has three engines, with an overcomplicated, overpriced drive train design for what? It has equal engine power and less(!) shaft power than the twin engined Mi-26, which is able to lifting 20 tons. Could the CH-53K flying better? Is it more maneuverability? Has it more payload? Is it actually a new design? No. It is just an extended upgrade of a well known, good old Stallion/Super Stallion family, for a huge amount of tax payer money. The CH-53K program is a typical "too big to fail" issue, it must be finished after all those years, even if the initial production pieces has those very annoying issues, such as the gear housing cracks, tail boom cracks, main rotor hydraulic damper overheating, FbW system errors and so on. All of these issues should be avoid in the design phase, especially with the nowadays design environment. The entire King Stallion program would be better, if the initial approach of the upgrade aimed for the twin engine design again, after the three-engined CH-53E.
The external capacity isn't 3 times that of the CH53E, its 3 times as far without external fuel tanks. Both are 36,000lb external lift capacity.

Great Sound of the Helicopter, Kids
Gee, I wonder what the HELICOPTER sounds like?
How far can it fly fully tanked up with no payload?
Turn down the volume for greater enjoyment......
To think its tail rotor is almost the same size as a little birds (MD500's) main rotor!?!?!

Be betterwith just the roaring sound of the Super Stallion.
March 2021, GAO recommended that the Marine Corps. NOT be allowed to buy more then the 6 they already have. It's a turkey
Please elaborate.
Hey, NAWCAD, the video would've been a lot better without the tacky, generic metal music. Please, leave that mess out of future videos.
The only sound I could hear is ugly music
Am I the only one that thinks it looks WEIRD without aux tanks?
Nah. At least not if you've spent time on ship where you see MH-53E's on a regular basis. A lot of us were actually jealous.
Funny... "The Sounds of Supremacy"
We used to call it the sound of freedom.

Came here to here the Damn Helo, not some lame ver of Metallica
Buy Mi-26 instead ?
Mi 26 to huge if you want landing it in Helicopter Carrier or aircraft carrier. CH 53 more reliable for that.

@realDonaldTrump ... This CH53 K model is all about , being Best 🇺🇲🇮🇱!
It looks like another cut, theft of the budget. Mi-26 is 4 times cheaper and carries 20% more cargo, there was a case when it transported 25 tons.
Can the MI-26 be stored in the hangar of an amphibious assault ship?
@@dylanshaft8936 i see you like Kinder Surprises XD Why put one transport in another? DD
