I’ve been told to stitched between every other bead on every row. I’m so glad you said the first row is the only row we have to do that to. I love these.
I just came across about a one pound bag of assorted seed beads I'd accumulated over the years, and these would be perfect! Thank you! I love your tutorials.
Received my kit a couple of weeks ago, finished them yesterday. I have Alzheimer's and I can't just follow a written pattern. Your tutorials are so easy to follow that I can then look at the pattern to check my work. Can't wait to make another pair. I'm attempting the blue peacock kit next and a few more projects.
Ooh! I cannot wait to make these earrings. Great design. I am still making your fuzzy beads after all these years. I put them in all kinds of designs. I think of you whenever I make a fuzzy bead. Love, love, love your head scarf. Zooms me right back to the 70’s when I wore them all the time. The scarf is so colorful, cheerful and is just the right colors for you❣️
in fact you gave us 2 patterns in one ! Ear studs and earrings. thanks for the secret how to sew the edge! a lot of inspiration, with love, from Romania
Just watched this video, went and printed the pattern, so, next stop....OTBP for supplies! Thanks, Kelly, for sharing this lovely earring design with us.
Kelly, you have a really voice and bright sunshine personality. When I real feel down , I watch your UA-cam and feel so much better and going to my craft room have some fun with my beads. Great job!
So cute and a great tutorial! Good use for all those size 11’s I bought thinking I could make a beaded crochet bracelet... fast forward, my fingers and eyeballs say not so much! But these look doable 😊
When learning crochet it's best to try to start with 8/0's. If you haven't tried those yet I would highly suggest it. It makes a huge difference when learning. Have fun!
@@kellydale7540 Thank you! I have made several bracelet size ropes with 8/0's, just thought I'd get a drapier, pretty rope with 11's... probably would but not if I can't fumble through it! LOL All good!
Thnx for showing how to connect the top and bottom pieces. I am working on that for clip-ons. This style of mixed color beads favors Masai style beadwork (Afrikan).
Very nice and good tutorial. I had wanted to know how to bead these. I have a pair I bought and they use felt on the bottom and I can see no stitches. Will take patience to make.
My kit arrived, I have made one of the small pieces, but I've been having problems with the beading needles bending out of shape and also threading them and now I will need to order some more. Anyone else have that problem, any suggestions?
My needles bend too. I use them until they can't be used any more or until the bend aggravates me, as I know any new needle I get will bend, probably because of the way I hold the needle. I just make sure to have several needles on hand so I can just swap out as needed. That's my suggestion: keep several needles. As for threading, that comes with practice. I've found that waxing/conditioning the thread helps, since that stiffens it. Also, pairing the right size needle with your thread: I tend to favor size 10 needle with .006 in. thread. For the beading that I do, this had worked for me. I hope this helps!
I really enjoyed your tutorial. Praying I will do well at making them. Very excited to try. Can you tell me the following.... 1. A list of the items needed to make the earrings. 2. Can I order them all from your store?
Hello Kelly. Love those earrings and will make them. I did see a pendant though on another one of your videos and tried buying the kit from you but I didn’t find it anywhere. Do you still make kits of the Compass Pendant? Thank you!
Hello I’m trying to find the supplies for these type of earrings. Can I find them on your website or Amazon? It’s the backings and suede also I’m trying to find
I would not suggest regular sewing thread. You really need a thread designated for beading. I sell all threads needed on my website. You can also look at the materials list at the beginning of the video to see the type thread i used.
Hi Kelly, how are you? You look beautiful. I love your thumb ring, where did you get it and what exactly is it? Thanks in advance. Blessings to you and your family.
I’ve been told to stitched between every other bead on every row. I’m so glad you said the first row is the only row we have to do that to. I love these.
Best FULL tutorial I’ve ever seen, people always just stop after the beads are sewn and never show us the next steps to completion
Love them 💜🩷

Love this tutorial. What is the white cloth you use and where does one buy some? And the middle flatback bead what size and where to buy some. Thanks.
The White is Beading Foundation. The stone in the center is an SS34 flat back. Both can be purchased on my website.

I use to have a ring just like that on your thumb
Please can I use normal sewing thread. I can't see the kind of thread you used here. Or can use fishing line the lowest size.
I would not suggest regular sewing thread. You really need a thread designated for beading. I sell all threads needed on my website. You can also look at the materials list at the beginning of the video to see the type thread i used.
Is your thread double or single when stringing on the beads.
Single
It looks like a Eyes of Cam🐜
