I think the Max to AM is a pretty interesting thought. I can see where the personality issues align, and that Jos and Lawrence would meld well…important to the family dynamic here. Max has a strong, but well earned ego, and I don’t see him slinking off into the sunset. I do see him being intrigued to go to another team that isn’t a strong as Red Bull, where he could prove to everyone that he is the one winning races, not because he has a dominant car. Losing this half of the year I’m sure is driving him nuts, and being vocal about it is understandable. In that front, the FIA is being hypocritical- look at Gunther Steiners tidal wave of obscenities, which made him and F1 popular - because it made the sport human and relatable. Stupidity. So for Max, I could see him jumping ship for a few years to prove he can win without the cushion that Red Bull has given him his whole career. Lewis to Ferrari will be an interesting test of that hypothesis. 😉 But if he winds up getting married and having a child or two, I could see that speeding up his F1 exit, as I would think he would want to go part time to an extent. Only time will tell…but it’s going to be a hoot to watch😂.

F1 influenced by Sharia Law; disgusting. As FIA president, to bring in his personal belief system when there wasn't even public & fan outcry reeks of putting himself first, rather than the sport & business he is supposed to advance. Sulayem is again proving that the Peter Principle is a fact.
I can't believe Mohammed Ahmad Sultan Ben Sulayem survived the nightmare a few years ago when Max won the championship over Lewis in that last lap nightmare. I would like to see the teams breakaway from the draconian INCOMPETENCE of the FIA. The only reason why the teams are there is because the FIA owns the legal rights to the name Formula 1. That's it. They could create their own league with their own set of officials but they would have to race under a name different than Formula One.
There are many drivers waiting for opportunity to drive F1 car and that will bend to rules for that. But its interesting that Verstappen got in trouble for bad language when he is not performing..up till now he was fine because it went good for him...and there were many other drivers who were in similar situation and didnt have that kind of language..or we didnt hear it. I think he needs to grow up a bit..but thats me
I have to say I'm not Verstappen's biggest fan, but I take exception to this decision by the FIA. It makes you wonder who's running the sport? A few years ago grid girls were banned; now you can't express yourself in interviews (Lando Norris has in the past and no one seemed to care);. What next? Maybe the champagne will be banned as it is an alcoholic drink and drivers are seen drinking in public. Maybe other values are at play here?!
I would love to see verstappen come to Indy car heck even hop into the dirt scene I think he would thrive there you put the car more into the drivers hands and let them figure it out on there own
I've already given F1 a miss. I don't miss it, but have discovered a love for club racing from Goodwood. Well run, driven by real enthusiasts, proper cars instead of boring hybrids.
He will not do ovals, he has said that many a time. Too high a risk of injuries and ovals would be utterly boring to him. He already has a lot of mental bandwidth when driving all kinds of tracks, so doing ovals is too repetitive to him.
Don't they bleep this stuff out anyway 99% of the time... Not a fan of Sulayem, and he certainly wouldn't be missed if he went. I'd rather Max stayed away from Aston Martin though.
I find it interesting how people discuss this with wrong or right. The video only highlight how a driver feel. Not how you or anyone else think about it. It's only feelings
He was very quiet when the car was dominant & now sounding like a petulant child. If he decides to retire, there will be no loss. to f1 with plenty of other drivers out there to replace him.
I am very disappointed in Max and his behaviour. I am not talking about his language in the interview but him not being a team player. In any team no matter if its F1, hockey, football or whatever you never criticize your team in public.
I think what everyone has to remember here is that F1 is a business. It exists to make money, and has no other driving force that's even half as strong. The market for F1 is hundreds of millions of people around the world, and F1 can only grow that market if it can sell itself in new countries. It has to cater to all kinds of morals and social sensibilities, even when those make no sense. The fact that F1 has events in places like Saudi Arabia demonstrates that it doesn't give two hoots about human rights abuses if it's being paid enough. But the F1 bosses want to project a certain image (or, I guess, set of images if you consider that the drivers are what they're marketing), and they're not going to tolerate deviations from the image because that threatens the bottom line. I think Max should be free to say whatever he likes about the car. Especially when it's not suiting him. And so should every other driver be free to express their views about their cars. But Max upset some of the big-money people, and they were not going to let him get away with that.
Constantly changing rule interpretation is bad for the sport and the driver. Racing is all about risk to get past another driver. Been there done it, and ordinary people do not understand risk anymore. Humans only feel alive at the point of death, that's how wars are won, as well.
Get the UAE out of the formula one.
Out of sport altogether.

I would like to see the teams breakaway from the draconian INCOMPETENCE of the FIA. The only reason why the teams are there is because the FIA owns the legal rights to the name Formula 1. That's it. They could create their own league with their own set of officials but they would have to race under a name different than Formula One.
Verstappen was well described by Colapinto. It always been a crying baby
No, that would be Hammie.
The long haul?? Max Verstappen was the first with a long term contract in F1
I think he needs to grow up a bit..but thats me
I would like to see you try to speak in a different language than you are used to...
@@SwirlingSoul While racing a car at 300+ km/h, full of adrenaline.
Maybe other values are at play here?!
fuuooookkkk FIa
even the great Shumi had his momets...
Max already owns a Valkyrie so the LM seat wont be that unfamiliar to him
I would love to see verstappen come to Indy car heck even hop into the dirt scene I think he would thrive there you put the car more into the drivers hands and let them figure it out on there own
If this stupidity continues I won’t watch F1 anymore. Period.
I've already given F1 a miss. I don't miss it, but have discovered a love for club racing from Goodwood. Well run, driven by real enthusiasts, proper cars instead of boring hybrids.
Think they will ever notice the lost cash from you?
Mohammed Ben Whatever has no business being in that position. As an ex-F1 fan, these days I can only point and laugh.
I wish Max would come over to the United States and either race in Indy car or NASCAR.
I think he’d go to endurance races, i remember him saying ovals is not his thing. But let’s see
He will not do ovals, he has said that many a time. Too high a risk of injuries and ovals would be utterly boring to him. He already has a lot of mental bandwidth when driving all kinds of tracks, so doing ovals is too repetitive to him.
Ha, keep on wishing.
Both utterly boring.

FIA chief needs to go
Where does it end with the FIA? Are they going to start handing out lashes if someone swears??
Will disappear into the night! How do I know this? Cus I'm an ox like max n nico n also Sept born Mika like max!
Don't they bleep this stuff out anyway 99% of the time... Not a fan of Sulayem, and he certainly wouldn't be missed if he went. I'd rather Max stayed away from Aston Martin though.

Can only be a good thing
No one had a problem with Mo Bin when he was being corrupt and helping Max to victories!
Ben Thingie corrupt? Oh no!
Every season we get closer to Formula E that no one cares about
I find it interesting how people discuss this with wrong or right. The video only highlight how a driver feel. Not how you or anyone else think about it. It's only feelings
Green Max
He was very quiet when the car was dominant & now sounding like a petulant child. If he decides to retire, there will be no loss. to f1 with plenty of other drivers out there to replace him.
I am very disappointed in Max and his behaviour. I am not talking about his language in the interview but him not being a team player. In any team no matter if its F1, hockey, football or whatever you never criticize your team in public.
F1 has never been a team sport.
Max isn’t going anywhere lol
