I wish I was situated in the U.K. because this would be a wonderful thing to experience. However, I think that 22.2 channels of sound is overkill. Probably half that many channels could yield a virtually identical experience for the audience.
In comparison with a shitload of DSP processing power, yes. But I don't want to be the one scratching my head for months to get a proper virtual room setup to implement in a DSP
