- This was my 4th try doing strawberry from seed. f
First time was about 3 years ago so i'm happy it worked out. Although i think it was thrips again that attacked at day 144, it looks like i haven't gotten rid of them completely yet :/

Fun fact… strawberries are the only consumable fruit with the seeds on the exterior. Also, they do not continue to ripen after being picked, that’s why grocery store strawberries have a white core and have mediocre flavor. Buy them from the farm.
ore grow your own
Give me more fun facts about produce!
Not tree cashew nuts come from an edible friut called the cashew apple, and the seed grows on the outside
Maybe they have a mediocre flavour where you are, not here in France
@@loganjeffrey4136the seed is not edible as it contains the same toxins as poison ivy
Great video. I just want everyone to know that strawberries are monster plants that dance across your garden consuming every patch of land, so don't think (oh, it's so cute) and go throwing one in with your azaleas unless you UA-cam it first.
Also, 1:33 is 93 seconds. At 60 frames per second, that's 5580 photographs. Across 160 days, that's 34 frames per day or about one every 42 minutes...-ish.
For permacultures they are amazing tho. Better have that than grass for sure, especially if you plant indigenous strawberries.
@@StayPrimalexactly! I planted a patch and let them spread within the area I had planned for it and they're gorgeous. I planted a native California variety, but it seems hybridized because the blossoms are a vibrant pink, some are straight magenta. The info card said it would have white blossoms, but no complaints here. I actually wished it had pink blossoms, and the plant gave me those 😂🍓🍵
It was nice to see the manual pollination!
Yes, and I think it might be instructive to other viewers! Good point! 😎✌️
Absolutely magical. Makes me appreciate everything I eat
I have no words how beautiful nature is.
Hello what is the grow light soul and fertilizer you use for most of your plants
This is most beautiful to watch, Thanks 😁
Is the brushing done to induce self-pollination?
Indeed 🙏
Woww!!!! This is amazing 😮
These are great video! Patiently waiting for that pineapple seed to pineapple video to drop. = )
Rotten fruit that fall on ground will become fertilizer and also another plant
🍓 Fantastic! Kiitos! Maybe I should try this.....? 🤔✌️😎
I love your videos. Which camera do you use
All praise for the Creator ❤🍓🍓🍓🍓
I'm curious what kind of strawberry this is. I've seen about a dozen varieties and grow 4 varieties in my garden, but this looks like something else. The leaves and fruit look like a woodland strawberry, but it's also different in every way, from the color, to the waxiness of the leaves, the size of the serrations and blossoms. I'm intrigued
I have native and cultivated varieties. They're all beautiful, like the beach strawberry with its fuzzy body and esthetically serrated leaves with vibrant pink blossoms, then there's the seascape with huge rounded leaves and white blossoms. Strawberries are amazing
🍓🍵🙏
my strawberries have somehow survived the last 2 winters here in northern England but birds often get to strawberries before i do😅
Some people say it is awful what I did... but I painted some rocks to look like strawberries and scattered them around my plants before fruit came. Birds learned my "strawberries" are crap and I only had to deal with snails 😁
I think it’s smart
@@PaulinaLukowska That's brilliant!
Wow, thats like magic
te amo amigo
Got alot of those last summer
Great! What cam you use for this?
Extra Nice 🍓
I was curious, what is the name of the little hydroponic unit the plant is growing in? Looks very cool. Thanks
This flower pot is called BOTANIUM hydroponic cultivation kit.
@@285.SUNRISEEXPRESS Thank You!
Hello what's that self watering pot? It's nice!
Yes!! There’s no link in the description 🤣
This flower pot is called BOTANIUM hydroponic cultivation kit.
Frische Erdbeeren sind das allerbeste. ❤
Subhanallah! Rabbim olan Allah bu sefer tohumu dışına yerleştirmiş çileğin harika 🍓
EU ADOREI O MORANGO 🍓🍓🍓
Where do i buy these growlights
what kind of soil did you use?
Strawberries sometimes germinate better after cold stratification
It’s a shame u didn’t plug the first strawberry that came out
Yeah but now that is nature..
@@hemanthk4075usually birds or rabbits eat them
@@user-qz1xu8cw9f yeah.. agreed
Great vid, the sound effect of the seed being pulled out of the strawberry was a little much tho
Just trying some new stuff so i dont get bored :)
@@Boxlapse i totally get that.
And its importance that you try out some different things every now and then :)
😂😂
EU PLANTEI O MORANGO CRIADO❤🍓🌱
How on earth did you get produce in the first year?
Edit: they look like alpine strawberries
What is the appropriate temperature from day 0 to day 150? I’m from Faisalabad, Pakistan, and these days, temperatures range between 20 degrees at night and 40 degrees at noon. Thanks
Like 20-30 C. Anything more will dry them out and they'll die
It looks like the seeds take a long time to germinate.
Пожалуйста можно видео о саговнике ? 🥹
Yeah, I clearly know what it's like to grow strawberries cause I have my own stawberry vines at home
Hello, I'm Korean I've been curious about this for a long time Thank you for posting this video
🇰🇷😎✌️
What, in Korea they don't have strawberries??
@@YeahNoTellTheTruth We have strawberries in Korea, but I was wondering what happens if we plant strawberry seeds
self watering plant pot?
What is the brush for?
Is it for fertilizing the plant?
Yes, it’s for pollination
Why that first fruit was unsuccessful
Where brand is that self watering pot ?
Botanium
The seeds is so small
what is this pot you use?
Botanium
Strawberries'es are yummy
Actually, strawberries don’t need seeds to grow, they use runners. But you can use seeds too
I just eat a strawberry I feel something growing
how do the plants cope with no nighttime?
Frames are taken with an interval of about 40 minutes, so I think he synced the lights with the camera.
He probably set a lighting schedule of 16-8 and during the night the lights turn on for the time necessary to take the photo. A few seconds of light every 40 min shouldn't disturb the plant cycle
@@nicolagrizzo214 ah clever
What did you do with that brush on 0:32?
It’s manual pollination as there are no bees indoors :)
SubhanAllah
All from a singular, seemingly insignificant, seed.
Hello
Hi
Howdy
@@sandrojones8068 I grow stuff. Do u grow stuff? 😜
The ending was heartbreaking
He left the strawberries to go rotten 😭😭😭😭

People still say there is no creator.. Who do you think made this delicious fruits and vegetables for you? Humans? Absolutely not. God made then for us.
Thats true.
why the sound effect 💀
much like many-a-slowmo-video the squelch noise added in post is unnecessary and unwelcome
Sharing a thought...you could always start your own videos & create them as you please to your liking. You could name it "No Squelch Time Lapse".
I'ma need 10% for the idea, if the channel succeeds.
Appreciate it! 😂...😉
Poor bees. Not only are their numbers dwindling, but their jobs are being taken away by paintbrushes, now … 🐝
Duplication glitch
You're supposed to eat them!
Nah i plant my strawberry seeds and in 7 days i already got a good sprout
Where the sunlight?? Where’s the science 😂😂
i did NOT like the unnecessary sfx in the beginning. something growing from a tiny seed is already incredible, no need to sugarcoat it !!!
