      Hi Rita, yes! I have turned to praise, for my pain. Jacob, My 33 year old son, died from a fentanyl overdose. He loved God, and Jesus. So, I will see him again! Hallelujah!

    Rita, I had just finished listening to the song you did with Anna Golden, and God has been so gracious and blessing me so much through hearing you sing again. You've blessed me right through my Christian walk over the past 20 years, and now again through one of my hardest seasons. I was just thinking I wish I could do life with you, and then discovered your podcast. I'm so greatful ❤ Your song 'You are still Holy', meant so much to me for so many years. It gave me words to sing through my pain when I had no words.

    I look back on this reminded of my mom I lost July 6th im 32 and this seems to be the direction He is leading me to is ,just worship and serve love others. I don't have to be a teacher or preacher to do big things for the Kingdom of God I've realized lately and worshipping might be all He is calling me for right now. Besides I would also be judged harsher if I were a teacher and I mess up a lot which I definitely need prayers for. I kind of lost sight of everything when I went my own route being disobedient and I miss the relationship me and Jesus had and the conversations we used to have.

    I miss my mom. She died before my dad. I miss my parents, but I wanted more time to share things with my mom. I am single, also. Rather unexpectedly . Your music has helped me in the past. Your testimonies are speaking to me now. Thank you.

    Worship is a weapon. Nine years ago I had an accident and it has been a long road of recovery. Those early months it was as if the enemy built a seige around me and attacked every night. God gave me a song - a little chorus - and said, " when he attacks sing this. " I did and he would flee - every time.
    God, our Heavenly Father is faithful. He gives us what we need when we need it.
    He also let me find you during that time - I have to believe is one I sing all the time...I have to declare I'm not alone - hallelujah!
    God bless you and keep you dear sister.

    The Lord called me to music back when I was a young girl. Like you when I sing the yoke is lifted. The annointing breaks me free. I am 60 now and my health is scary but God has used you to remind me that one of my best weapons is the voice He gave me. Even in the valleys of life I can’t allow the enemy to take my weapon my song

    I lost my mother and best friend just before Covid. Cancer. I never knew my biological father until I was found by my sisters two years before my mom died. I feel like God led me to you. There are so many reasons.

    I’ve been listening to your podcasts and love them so much. I love how you talk about Jesus like you would talk about a best friend. That touches me so much more than you know. Your testimony has touched me so much. I have nudges of things I feel like I should do and get stuck on how I would do it so I tend to push it to the back of my mind. Thank you for putting your story out there. ❤️

    God isn't so comforting when loved ones die without having been saved.

    • @amish-landchateau
      @amish-landchateau 8 місяців тому +3

      It only takes a moment to be saved, and if we don’t know that our loved one took the opportunity to use their last moments to speak to God, just remember that we don’t know that they didn’t. Even when people are said to have “died instantly” it still takes a few minutes for the body to completely stop, and God can reach into those moments to speak to anyone. That’s all it takes for salvation to be bestowed on a dying person.

    • @Zzza8
      @Zzza8 8 місяців тому

      @@amish-landchateau I am unaware of any scriptures where someone received Salvation while they were unconscious. So while I appreciate the good intentions behind your response, it seems like wishful thinking at best.

      @@Zzza8God gave me a dream about my father. He had heart surgery and never left the hospital. Got an infectio., yet the doctors never prepared us for him dying. They never said he was that bad. He was sent to the nursing home, where he coded. He was on a ventilator and they said he had no brain activity, but he stayed alive even after they took him off the machine. I truly believe God was dealing with him in that time. Yes I have loved ones that are not believers. In heaven there is are no tears, so we are to be diligent to share the gospel , and trust God.

      I red "The Wave" of John Wimber when I was 19. We didn't have Vineyard in Oslo untill 1993. But I remained in worship another 10 years, even 75% of our church went over to them. But sadly a seduction came over the 3 biggest churches in Oslo (who strived to become a NAR church) so I didn't go over to Vineyard untill all that mess was finish. But then I moved away from Oslo 😔I loved those people
