Honestly love that the Ruination are great since the models are gorgeous and been eagerly waiting for their stats for Warcry. Cant wait to test them out.

It’s an exciting time for sure. Between these, the changes to Thunderstrike, and my undying love of Questor Soulsworn, SCE are eating good
I'm finding it difficult to evaluate the Terminos - if you're taking him for his triple, i think you'd rather just bring Calthia because her requirements are less specific, and she's cheaper - if you're taking him as a killy piece, i think the reclusian prime is better at that? - Terminos CAN do both roles though and flexibility can be good
I think the board-wide nature of the Terminos really sells it as a good hybrid piece. Especially when you consider the Terminos is better In combat and more survivable. He does just enough to beat out the Reclusian Prime, but I’m also a sucker for the Veritant, so they both get the boot haha
The Knight Azyros would benefit from his ability, it's visible enemies not visible friendly.
I think I'll go for:
- Lord Veritant
- Prosecutor Prime
- 3x Reclusians
- 2x Gryph-Crows

Yes! I forgot to mention it in the video but they get the standard Stormcast Battle Trait - which is one of the best ones going!
You forgot to talk about the cherry on top of the cherry - the lore! Finally Sigmar’s “Boy Scout” [sic] warband shows its grimdark roots! Love, love, LOVE this warband - who’s still got this half of Skaventide to sell or trade?!?
Ruination being a bit more grindark is certainly a big stonking win for sure :D

Bumping the Veritant to S5 on their ranged attack is always solid. Throw the remaining 10 points onto the Terminos for Crit to have a fun time

@@wargamesontoast veritant and gryph always together to do his double. Terminos and prosecutor and reclusian prosecutor. Leave a prosecutor to the end of the round move into one activated fighter and do an attack. Next round be the first to do 2 attacks and double to fly away… and maybe you can take down a hero of the opponent (sorry about my english)
Really dislike the anti ability reaction overall. Bit of a feels bad mechanic really, as Stormcast arent typically the funnest to play against at the best of times due to durability, so this on top isn’t one im a fan of. But that’s just my 2cents not something I think that should be in the game or why these Stormcast have it
My stance on this kind of thing is that if it’s unique to one faction and not repeated elsewhere in the future, I’m ok with it. Ultimately, the reaction is powerful but flawed. Stormcast warbands are small and every reaction eats into their action pool. If they get nothing out of it due to a bad roll, then that’s a huge blow to their economy.
As a player fight Ruination, baiting their reaction will become a strategy. Throw out abilities that are inconvenient but fairly easily stopped to drain their actions before dropping something more dangerous. In this situation, it’s win win. If they take the bait, you get your true plan off without a hitch. If they don’t, then all those smaller abilities go off without a hitch.
I feel like the reaction forces new approaches to play, which I am always for. In addition, the oppressive nature of Ruination seems intended, which thematically, I am also all for. They lose out in other areas to make up for their unique strengths to help balance them out a smidge.
Just my opinion though, not everyone is going to agree with that stance for sure, haha
@@wargamesontoast hey yeh that’s fair man I guess at the end of the day we’ll see how we go when they hit the table. A guy in my local group is keen to get a warband going so I’m keen to play against them either way - gotta love those sculpts ✌️
@TheManAmongAll absolutely. It’s all early days, so who knows how they land once people start running them more frequently :)
T4 and 20 wounds are squishy? Lol - try telling that to a Skaven player with T3 and 12-16 wounds
