There’s an actual story of a German soldier on D-day at Omaha beach that manned an MG all day in his bunker and only left after his ammo runner failed to return and he realized he couldn’t do anymore. He ended up getting captured a few days later

I still don’t understand why the satchel doesn’t destroy or at least heavily damage tanks by destroying their engine, tracks or turret ring.
The hull should turn red or orange and light tanks should be a 2-hit to destroy if not directly on it (which would be a one-hit)
Very weird
You need to damage three points to kill a tank these days. Both tracks and either the engine or the main gun. A Pioneer can't do it alone anymore. You need a soldier with you for extra ammo. One option is to use the magnetic charge on the engine, then use the 3kg charge on the turret. That means accurately tossing the charge onto the top of the turret, or climbing on the tank and placing it there. The crew will hear you do that and jump out to try and kill you. Be ready for that. I've also seen a magnetic charge placed directly onto the gun barrel. But that can be quickly repaired once the tank drives away. Go for the tracks first, kill any crew who get out, then go for the engine and hope you get an ammo box from someone so you can finish the job.
