Dunes on small bored is fun. I Run a hybrid sand tire on my 250. The rmz450 i had, i ran a full paddle but you had to be in deep sand constantly or it tore it too shreds
It’s been a while since I have ran a paddle at the dunes. Typically we just try to ride the edges of the dunes where the sand isn’t as soft.
@@BackcountryLife yeah I've done that too. Especially when i was learning to ride sand.
Did you have to have paddle tires for the sand? Paddle tires are a must have in the sand dunes in my area. The sand really eats up the horsepower.
Yeah we have really deep sand as well. We sometimes will throw on a paddle tire but this time we just had knobbies and a whole lot of throttle.

I've only done a few sand rides and I love it, but now I have my Beta so now im not sure. The ktm 150sx that I had was awesome in the sand wide open
The sand is a total different experience for sure. I really enjoy the sand but it does require lots of throttle to "Float".
When I found that out is when I started to actually enjoy it, but up to that point it was a big struggle. I saw a super long stretch and said to myself screw it its only sand ill see what happens. It was at that moment when I learned that going fast in the sand was crucial for stability
Will needs to make a Top 5 or Top 7 Sand Dune riding tips video with demos of each tip and some nice flowy slow mo video some accompanying drone footage. You can thank me for the 50k views and thousand subscribers later. :-) awesome video of some of my favorite people our having fun!

Keep believing that it will happen, and sure enough it Will. Stay positive and keep your goal in mind, but DON'T GET A 450 FOR YOUR 1ST BIKE. With that being said DON'T get a 450 for your 1st bike!!!! Get something thats going to feel comfortable and still push your limits

If i didn't have to get rid of my 150sx in order to get a Beta 300 I wouldn't have. 125 and 150s are awesome at any age im almost 38 and I still love the smaller displacement bikes. Seriously though, don't give up on your goal to get a dirtbike. Times are hard right now but staying positive and actively working for your goal is what I've learned to work every time. It may sound funny or even like someone read it out of a brochure ( lol 😆) but it actually works. Thats how I got my first dirtbike almost 2 years ago. It took me about 6 months to really set it in stone in my head that I needed one and set my goal. And to be honest I totally prayed 🙏 for one.
