Wow. He is an exceptional young man. I knew of him and Kovur, but didnt know anything about them. These two are gold. Great role models for the younger generation. And Alex's music is REALLY good. That's actually all i knew of him. Loved this interview.
I’m 4 years older than Alex and yet he is such an inspiration to me. I don’t know him personally but I love that guy. He’s an awesome dude and I’m happy for him for being where he is now in life .
the grief and the weather analogy was SPOT FUCKING ON. i’ve watched alex for a long time and seeing him grow and learn from all his trials and tribulations is beyond inspiring. @alexwarren i hope you know that people look up to you for many reasons ❤ keep shining
I’m going to be completely honest, I wasn’t a huge fan of Alex.. he really reminded me of David dobrik and I felt like he was taking on his annoying obnoxious personality but watching this whole thing changes my look on him completely… he’s a very down to earth person.
Did not know much about Alex, but it’s funny how the stars aligned. My husband and I have been together for almost 15 years(since we were 16) and we had an almost identical story to Alex and his fiancé. Recently my MIL passed, and much like Alex’s mother. She was a terrible parent with a horrible drug addiction. When she passed, I was/am floored with how much it still affected my husband and none of his siblings. It had a hard time understanding it. It has almost torn us apart. This video has done more for me than I think anybody will ever know. Your description of your feelings is extraordinary and will I feel by far lead you to exemplary song writing. Thank you, and this show for diving into the why behind the what. I wish nothing but success from you in life and work. I’m now a fan. ❤
When he mentions he's got a lot to prove because he's singing after coming from TikTok, that's some pretty impressive self awareness. I've heard of his vlogs before so I recognized his name when Chasing Shadows dropped and it popped up on my instagram explore and I freaking loved it. His single releases after that have all been huge hits in my books, lyrics are full of meaning and depth in his voice. I irrationally didn't want to like his songs and I think it was definitely attributed to the start of his time with the hype house, but honestly at this point I've accepted that I love his songs, his story, and i'm a big fan. Really rooting for the success of his music career.
My first impressions of Alex Warren was that he was a kid who started vlogging as a teenager. Hype House came along, completely thought it was a copy of David Dobrik’s Vlog Squad but just with a bunch of TikTokers. I think when I truly started caring about him was when he left the Hype House and it shows that he has changed dramatically as a person. I listened to his first song, then second, then third, and so on, on release date. I look at the lyrics and I’m just like, damn… I was making fun of this “kid” who looked and acted like David Dobrik. Hearing his life story from start and to where he is now is just truly life changing for him and others who are, or were, in a similar situation. Think twice before you judge someone. Peace and blessings to y’all.
it’s called the “death rattle” and it’s atrocious. as a nurse, he’s correct in saying that no one should ever hear a loved one, or any human for that matter, go through that.
I don't think that everyone is entitled to company when they pass. If you're good people you'll have loved ones around you. Forgiveness and empathy can't be expected or forced. Love the vid though
in zachs defense as someone who has never seen a marvel movie, i quite literally had no idea who tom holland was until recently. there are sooooo many celebrities that i know the name but wouldn’t know them to see them if they passed me on the street 😅 i’d hate to meet someone famous & genuinely be asking them then they assume i’m pretending ahahahahahah but could so easily happen to me. i know youtubers/tiktokers more than i know Α list celebrities. & my ex bf knows even less than me. he didn’t know who ariana grande was (he knew she made music) but asked me who she was when she was on my phone screen one time.
.177 is a pellet, one step above a BB gun. You would have had to been shot at 5 feet or less for it to go into the skin. You buy them at Walmart and let 7 year old kids shoot them in the backyard.
I thought the same for years. I supported him making music and once I listened to all of his music, I had this “oh shit” moment that he was truly different.
like, anyone in this world would ever know how MUCH i love alex... i can't believe that this kiddo is my role mode for life like KSBSKSB same level of insecurity but i love him extremely much❤️🩹

This feels so genuine and honest. You always think you know people on social media then you hear their stories.
I was on tiktok and just came across Alex through a clip from this podcast, scrolled his account and ended up here in amazement of his story
Alex writes great music and his story is never ending….one song leaves off right where the new one begins.

i’ve been a fan since he surprised Kouvr in hawaii. it’s so beautiful to see them grow together and talk about their future 😢 ❤

That just proves that you shouldn’t assume things about people you don’t know :)
I had the identical experience to you

Loved this one! Alex is underrated - He deserves to play arenas. Definitely have him on again soon 🥰🤍

Best podcast I have EVER HEARD! So real and GENUINE!
Alex is the sweetest 🥺
I found Alex on Snapchat and I’m so happy I did. Love his music and his soul.
He is vary relatable and when he said like make those dark humor jokes
he’s the best
he’s giving me a younger Finneas vibe. i dig it
Can someone pleaaase get him and Lewis Capaldi together!?
FINALLY someone said it‼️
I wonder what he said at 23:21
it’s called the “death rattle” and it’s atrocious. as a nurse, he’s correct in saying that no one should ever hear a loved one, or any human for that matter, go through that.
Alex, some constructive feedback since you asked for it... I think when you say "surrogate" in this context you mean "scapegoat". Good interview!

what happened at 23:21
Bring him back now that the ndas are over
Is it j me who thinks he definitely shaded Huddy for his "I wanna be Beyonce" line in Hype House (for ref: 26:00 )
🥰🥰🥰😭😭😭
So Bryce hall was kind right

alex has matured from
mirroring david dobrik’s life to lewis capaldi’s life. 😂
So this is the guy that copied David dobrik?
