    Dear Chef, I just followed your recipe to give my wife a surprise on our 25th wedding anniversary. I gave this king of sweet to my queen who has be so sweet with me for 25 yrs. Never ever, I had tried to prepare a sweet in my life. This was my maiden attempt. It came came out so well and it was a proud moment for me. 🙏Thanks a ton for your recipe.       Sir Have a doubt in kasi halwa u added drops of lemon juice to avoid caramelaisation .in Badam halwa no such step is needed sir??

    This recipe took me back to my childhood when my appa used to take us kids to a Brahmin hotel and buy this badam halwa. I never read anything that said they tried this recipe. I tried this recipe , followed everything but I overcooked it as I was looking for the stickiness that Mr. Bhat was referring to. So instead of I made Garfield. Tasted fantastic. I always do this overcooking whenever I make any halwas for the first time. The second time, it gets better. I am glad I was inspired to make this halwa watching the video. I don’t give up, so would be trying again.

    Sir, tried badam halwa on my birthday on 21st June, with your perfect step by step procedure, the dish ( my favourite) came out very well, liked by all in my family ( From mother in law to daughter in law). Also tried 3 more recipes ( Vada, coconut chutney, mango pickle) All were awesome, your simple homemade procedure attracting us to do. Thanks sir, waiting for some more from your home kitchen

    OMG..I judt made this 2 days back..i came out soooo well...panrache..i thought let me not do it again..as it is taking time, but after tasting it..my god, am sure;y surely gonna do it again..me n my hubby enjoyed the dish..worth any effort n time in it..just as tasty as I would get it from any branded restaurant or food chain..hats off to u for such a wonderful dish...pls pls post more savouries too...like muruku, pakoda and snacks eee...yummy...lovely..once again hats off to this dish n ur teaching...

    I made for my husband's 60th birthday today..though I have made this recipe earlier I had soaked almonds overnight and it was full of milk with soaking ..it came out well my husband loved it..with no great celebration in Corona period this brought some cheer in our family today

    We tried at home today. Taste and texture was great.
    I see color did not come as yellow. It was in light orange, may be saffron is different.
    My dad we who is a war veteran, he is counting his last days in bed, he is on liquid diet only, but he had one spoon of Badham alwa, that was so satisfying for me. I am just sharing with you to mention the difference that you make is priceless, keep doing your good work.

    We did this Badam halwa and came out pretty well on my mom's birthday June 20th... Only concern was saffron was not good enough to bring that gold yellow in my sweet. Taste was awesome far better than what we get it in leading sweets stall.. thanks for sharing..

      I have prepared badam halwa it came out well but slight harder at the surface.Though I added 150ml ghee the halwa was dry.
