This recipe took me back to my childhood when my appa used to take us kids to a Brahmin hotel and buy this badam halwa. I never read anything that said they tried this recipe. I tried this recipe , followed everything but I overcooked it as I was looking for the stickiness that Mr. Bhat was referring to. So instead of I made Garfield. Tasted fantastic. I always do this overcooking whenever I make any halwas for the first time. The second time, it gets better. I am glad I was inspired to make this halwa watching the video. I don’t give up, so would be trying again.

We did this Badam halwa and came out pretty well on my mom's birthday June 20th... Only concern was saffron was not good enough to bring that gold yellow in my sweet. Taste was awesome far better than what we get it in leading sweets stall.. thanks for sharing..
