fun fact: lights, like your kitchen stove timer, sometimes blink like that on camera because of something where the frequency of the light doesn't match up with the shutter speed on the camera so it gives the effect that it's blinking due to the frames your camera is capturing! (i may have explained that a little bit wrong, but my boyfriend was a film major and he explained that to me once lol)

I love your kitchen! I live in a studio apartment as well, but my kitchen nook is tiny.... i would love to have a full size stovetop and an oven and a dishwasher! I have only a mini fridge in the kitchen so i bought a bigger fridge with freezer and put it in my cellar unit to have a little more room for food... but always making the best of what you get! Organised is the last word i would use to describe my pantry but even then I still manage to find things.
I think that once my space is organized it makes me more likely to keep it organized, you know? :) Hahah idk, I find it therapeutic!

You don't need to keep garlic and potatoes refrigerated. Specially since garlic can get mouldy. I envy your Miyoko's cheese. I wish they sell them in the UK. Congrats on your lovely kitchen organising.

This was so satisfying and comforting for some reason! Unrelated, but showing your leftover frozen spinach artichoke dip reminded me I have some of it frozen; do you have any suggestions how to use it up?
You can usually just reheat and eat as is, or put it on toast, pizza, whatever you'd usually use your dip for :)

ugh everything is so beautiful! quick question - i think i heard you say that you make your parmesan with brazil nuts, do you prefer that to cashews?
It was what I had on hand at the time, you can really use any nut/seed however brazil nuts are a wonderful source of selenium

It's an Almond Cow jar (I use an almond cow machine to make my milk at home ♡)

A great kitchen and pantry tour video with a well organised pantry. Do you ever buy selected items in bulk?(Referring to dry/canned foods/ products in jars/bottles). I do buy selected items in bulk online both from amazon and other online retailers. I also try to support the local zero waste store's delivery service especially since there's local brands that are available that you won't find on Amazon.
Yes I do often, many of the jars I already had filled were from bulk, however at the moment bulk is not an option in New York City due to the pandemic.
@@Veggiekins That's unfortunate that is the case you can't buy bulk in NYC due to the pandemic but in the UK you have the option of buying in bulk online.

cutepinksocks It’s really not if you do it as you go, and I spend much less time shuffling bags around looking for what I need 😊 just my personal preference as someone who’s constantly cooking for a living
I try to limit the amount of processed foods I eat, as well, but that Miyoko's cheese 👀👀👀👀👀
Same with me because I thrive better with whole plant foods so my diet is dominantly 95% whole plant foods and 5% vegan plant based junk food.
