To me it’s a combination of the layout, colors and artwork along with the fact that it comes in a translation that is not typically known as a kid friendly translation. I really like the idea of exposing Word for Word translations to kids early on. I usually just read multiple versions to my kids so that they can see the differences and hopefully come to a deeper understanding of the text. This would give my youngest especially an opportunity to sit down and read the text on her on but with all of the helps that are age-appropriate. I don’t know if I can say it’s the best kids Bible but it certainly ranks up as a top three to me. Great review as always! Thank you for putting the time and effort into even kids Bible reviews.
I think Holman knocked it out of the park with the One Big Story Bible. It has the full text along with a lot of pictures, in text maps and Bible helps. This is the Bible that I wish I had as a kid. 🤩
I got this for my 6 year old son. I think it’s the best kids Bible because the colorful layout grabs his attention. Also, he requested ribbons to match my Bibles.
I was impressed with this Bible. Looking at the cover I expected it to be more story bookish. I don't have a vast wealth of knowledge of children's Bibles but this one looks solid. I agree wholeheartedly with your comment about font size for children compared to font size for adults. Good video!
I’m not sure if this is the best kids bible out there, but it is definitely a great option. The color and simplicity of the study section would be perfect for a child who is able to read on their own. For a toddler or very young child, this would definitely be too advanced.
I think this was an excellent Kid's bible. All the vibrant colors and pixtures really draw the eye. Even the highlighted marks for chapter number and headers really help. Thinking back to the Kids NIV I haf as a kid, it lacked all the vibrancy and fun this bible has. It made me even want to pick it up! Kid's beed that exotic/fun pagination to make learning about God fun.
This is a great Bible for the kiddos. We use it our Kid's Ministry. Great and colorful layout. Good topics for this age. Not sure about the NASB for that age. (We use the NIrV/NIV.) Thanks

I have seen Bibles like this in the KJV as well. I think the point is they should be available in translations that the church they go to uses.
I think the best things about this Bible are that it has so many learning tools/features, and all of the color and illustrations.

The Bible is really good for kids because it's colorful and the layout is really nice great video brother
It'd be better if they hadn't waited until after they started revising the translation to do this.
Pretty good kid edition. I think the most important part is it contains the entire text of scripture.
