Song of Wraiths of Ruin, Scythe, Clap When You Land and Felix Ever After are all in my all time favorites! Some other 5-star books I read this year are The Night Circus, An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, Starsight, and Red White and Royal Blue
I can't wait for you to read Thunderhead. But I really hope you have the third one on hand, since it has one of the biggest cliffhanger I've ever read.
Great list, a lot of them were already on my radar but This is My America sounds like one I'm going to have to pick up soon. Thank so much for bringing us this list!
I'm absolutely loving all the skulduggery pleasant books by derek landy, especially in audiobook form. Rupert Degas does a phenomenal job narrating. Unfortunately they changed the narrator from book five on, which I havent listened to yet, but I'm sure I'll still enjoy the story.
The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton is 5 🌟 for sure! The blurb is ‘Agatha Christie meets Groundhog Day’ and oh my god, it’s soo soo soo good!!! I’ve listened to the audiobook twice! It’s a great read, especially for the Fall because it’s murder mystery.
The Space Between Worlds is one I would recommend to everyone! Amazing cast of complex and diverse characters, wlw romance, and setting that continues to blow my mind even though I’m halfway through!
Hi...you should totally check out Dan Brown books📚📘📖 ....I haven't gotten to all of them yet😬😬... I've just read The Da Vinci Code and Inferno...and I totally loved them...both of them were 5 star reads for me...and I hope that you're able to get to them and that you like them...👍 P.S.- I've been following you channel for a loong time now and you were the first booktuber I saw...I didn't even know that such a wonderful community existed and thank you for all the wonderful videos and laughs that you've given us❤️❤️...and also.... I have been planning to start my booktube channel for a while but didn't know how to do it and that's when you posted about starting a series of some tips for booktubing and I hope that I can start my channel soon.... Wow...that was some post script.😂
A 5 star read that I'd recommend to anyone is The How and The Why by Cynthia Hand. I read it in April for the stay home reading rush and I loved it so much.
great video. it's sad that because of school I have zero time to read. i still need to finish the rick riordan world aaaa xd. and than move onto scythe ;)
@@sarahlee294 our unreliable narrator Oliver gets after 10 years out of jail for a murder he may or may not have commited. The cop who put him in jail wants to know the truth before he goes into retirement. So oliver tells the story of him and his best friends at the prestigious art school, doing shakespearean theater, the romance, tragedy and the death/murder of one of them. :D its not fantasy but SO WORTH THE READ. Even if you don't like Shakespeare that much or don't understand all the nuances and references to the plays (i didn't either)
You like having a good cry? Read The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. That's the book I recommend to EVERYONE. Its a retelling of the Iliad but basically its just gayer. After reading it, I cried for, like, 3 days straight. A bunch of my favourite quotes are from that book. Here's some: "I am made of memories." "I could recognize him by touch alone, by smell; I would know him blind, by the way his breaths came and his feet struck the earth. I would know him in death, at the end of the world."
I really wish i could read contemporary but i can NEVER get myself to pick up a contemporary book...heaven knows why!! I've been planning to read Graceling and Scythe for so long but there are so many books to read!! Ah..I wish I had started reading earlier and hadn't been so obsessed with the books I had already read that I reread them again and again and again......for years rather than reading new books!! I am VERY picky about books!
Haha I don’t read a ton of them, but really it’s just whatever I’m feeling! So if you’re not feeling it then don’t feel bad about it! ☺️ read what you like!
Considering my disappointment to wow-ed ratio is like 90/10 I do NOT enjoying going into books without knowing something about them and having adjusted expectations😂
Me: See List Me: Hmmm I guess its time to go read and cry Also for my pretty good books that I’ve read this year, one of the not so popular ones was The Wrath and the Dawn and I’m not sure why its not very popular cuz its really quite good. Oh! And Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian! That book is SO GOOD. Truly, you should check it out.
The adventures of Sherlock Holmes Percy Jackson (duh!) The Chronicles of Narnia (i personally DNFed it but that's because I was too old to enjoy it but I think a 12 year old should find it interesting.) Artemis Fowl
OMG Thank you All books sound interesting My mother bought a book for me today. Which I will show in my video... When it will be finished we will bring these books Thank you for replying 😊😊

The Diviners by Libba Bray is so good! The audiobook makes the book seem like you're in a movie!
I can't wait for you to read Thunderhead. But I really hope you have the third one on hand, since it has one of the biggest cliffhanger I've ever read.
