I'm on Charm Table 8 and I don't see any benefits to gunning as much as others (table 9, 10, 14, etc). Thank you if you reply

Jumbodoodoo If you've put 280 hours in then it's absolutely not worth it. While Table 8 may not be one of the best, but it has its fair share of great talismans, and a lot of good ones. I have an HR600+ friend who is on Table 8, and he has plenty of good gunner sets.

For the scatter shot, the best range is very close. You can see that he gets the white flash more often than not, meaning he is in the effective range.

I have a few questions. One I know the Warflare Demolisher has rapid on its 2 charge, but I never see you use it. Is it that spread is better at damage and slime? Second would it be better to stand at the monsters face and fire like you did or is it better to try and get the range right? I know they might sound like stupid questions, but all the bow guides I read say that you should get the range right, but obviously your way is very effective. I would be very grateful for the advice.

It sounds like you're a bit confused about how Weakness Exploit works. Basically, it takes a monster's weak hitzones (45% or above) and makes them even weaker (adds 5%). For example, if I am hitting a 45% hitzone with an attack of 100, the monster would take 45 damage. If I had Weakness Exploit, the hitzone would be 50%, so I would be inflicting 50 damage to the monster.
Hmm, I had the impression the hitzone values were actually defense values, so higher numbers = lower damage. So higher hitzone values equals higher damage overall?
mhm I still refer to the talisman by the skill name b4 activation, IE I have an expert 13 weakness xploit 5 talisman, I wouldn't call it a crit eye 1.3 an half tenderizer but @Red Phoenix, yea expert grants critical eye, but I guess aside from sounding silly you could still refer to it as expert 10, 15 20 ect... as remembering the jewl name n the skill granted can b a lot 4 new players

If you have friends who own the Wii-U version you can go to their house and play using your 3ds, the game is cross platform compatible. Or if you by chance get your hands on a Wii-U of your own you can play with people around the world even if you only have the 3ds version, you just need the Wii-U (I think it is an app) But those are the only ways I know of playing with others if you don't have 3ds pals.
If you manage to get yourself a Wii-U you can enjoy the online experience with even the 3ds like I mentioned. So it is more a fact of wanting to make the investment of buying the console. I for one plan on getting one for MH, and a lot of the other games coming out this year.
I've said it before and i'll say it again... It would be the best and hardest if they made a land arena hunt with you and only one other hunting a Stygian Zinogre, the World Eater Deviljho, Giant Rust Duramboros, Brachydios, Gold Rathalos, Lucent Nargacuga, then finally Super ivory. You'd get 120 minutes and they'd all come one after the other.
No cart would have been really great. :) If you wanna use fortify with a clean record, you have to eat for Felyne Insurance in MH Cross. Otherwise you could bump up your attack and defense even further.

Got it randomly. I looked into charm sniping once and decided against it within the first 30 seconds of reading the tutorial.

6:23 360 no scope.
The bow I'm using has Spread Lv5 on the L3 charge, so Pellet/Spread Up gives me a 30% damage increase.
Bombardier is a relatively small damage boost. I only go for it if I can't fit anything else on my set.

Nope, power coating is strictly better than close range coatings. However, close range coatings are adequate when you're out of power coatings.

MH3U, the Wii U one, still has online. Otherwise you'd have to wait for MH4U to be released here on 3DS, it'll have online play.
DarkOmicron i think it online in mh4 will not that useful because the mh3 atm for 3ds is local online only not over the internet

They're more or less identical for bows. Your charm will work just fine.

Chris Budd pierce is better for raw than rapid and spread is better for status than rapid.
