  • Hi Guys,
    In this real time study with me, I use the flowmodoro technique to maximise my time in the flow state (if you're unfamiliar with this technique then feel free to check out my video on this • The Technique Better t... ). I'm studying a few immunology lectures simultaneously and creating my relational priority mindmap. So you can study along with me and see my mind mapping process!

    "I'm going to study multiple lectures simulaneously on my double screen" - it was at this moment I realised we're of a different breed 😂

    How do you keep mindmaps looking simple with less words
    If You had to write down the whole signs and symptoms of a disease who you write the whole thing?

    For heavy content subjects like business management, do you recommend trying to breaking the words down and rephrasing them or replacing them with visuals. Personally I have just put the content into words I understand with some or no visuals.

    I really appreciate most of your stuff mate, but these type of videos aren’t really useful without knowing your thought processes to accompany what you’re doing. We may as well be watching someone play Fortnite!

      Probably a focus routine to get into a mindset to start studying. Similar to basketball players right before they do a freethrow 😀

      @@ArcherNewton Maybe your tools set up, brushes sizes, palettes etc., or some general tips for using Concepts to do mindmaps would help tons! The app has a lot of options and does have a bit of learning curve. I saw your mindmap goes from big to small, I spent so long trying to figure out the right set up to do that!

    Tbh, I don't think you are even studying. Just pretending to do so, otherwise you would have shown the monitor as well.

      Why would I do that? The lecture slides are copyright material from the university that I can't show legally.

    Do you recommend drawing the mind map as you learn (simultaneously) or is it more productive to draw the mind map AFTER you've gone through all your material? In other words, what is the effective order of drawing the mind map and going through the material?

    • @Alx-uq4mp
      @Alx-uq4mp 2 роки тому +7

      You could create the basic structure of the mind map when you pre-study. Then via inquiry based learning (asking questions) you fill out the map.
