Looks like you have a great start. eBay charges sales fee on sold price, shipping the buyer pays and sales tax for their state. Need to add a field for sales tax for each state to get an accurate profit statement - a drop down box.

good to have such calculator; however it may need some tweaking.... in addition to questions asked by others if it considers taxes; does it also consider autods fees in case of auto order (3% payoneer, $0.50 credit usage)?
Awesome calculator easy and user friendly I am a new ebay seller I want to if I drop ship from ali express should I change my item location to China or leave as my country in India

It's not that exact as for some reason ebay charges the fees on the full amount taking into account the taxes it charges to the customer. But to understand an approximate of how to calculate is fine
Question how accurate is this ? I found this yesterday on youtube doing Searching. I went through this. Doing a spreedsheet for 2021 and it is giving me different info then what eBay is giving me? On the fees.
We worked long and hard on this calculator - It's as accurate as you can get. Remember that there are several factors affecting your fees - including what category you're in, seller account level, payment options, promotions, and more.
Hey, as mentioned in the video, the fees may differ and one factor that affects the fees is the eBay category of the product. The payment processor (Managed or PayPal), eBay account options, shipping costs, and other relevant fees that should be considered are in the video. I am having biggest problem: Every time I check items that dropship from CJ through AutoDS , shows mostly Out of Stock. I check CJ, they have inventory a lot. What is going on?
It could be possible that you see the items between scans. Meaning, the products were out of stock before and just got in stock. They should be updated in the next scan. Is your ebay calculator taking into consideration the TOTAL cost of the sale (to include sales tax)? I know this could be challenging since each US state and/or even counties within a state may have different % of sale tax calculation. I just completed a very large sell and measured that against your calculator (top rated seller only - NOT PLUS) and it was not correct. I took the net proceeds ebay paid out to to me and measured that against my total invoice from my vendor and have a different figure. Trying to figure out the best way to use your calculator as I like the idea. But again, it does not match. Item is OTHER CATEGORY and your calculator reads 11.8%, but on my eBay sell, eBay shows 12%. eBay takes fee again total amount of the sale (to include sales tax, if any) - and then in turn - subtracts the fee from the BASE price of the sale, thus, paying out - net proceeds.
Hi, it was explained in the embedded video that it does not include Sales tax. You need to take that into consideration when pricing your product. Sales tax is an average of 10% added to the source price. We didn’t include it in the calc since some purchases are taxed while others aren’t, some work with tax-exempt, etc. But it’s essential to take it into consideration. I do not think he knows the fees for Walmart. he will not talk about sales tax. If they are your source and you are buying the item on Walmart to resell. It is the cost+shipping+sales tax. This is your total cost of goods.

NOTICE: (SALES TAX - From Supplier) I have been telling him for weeks. He needs one more field. If you buy this item from Walmart or other Sources you have a SALES TAX fee of up to 10%. added to the cost of your goods. NOT Sure why he keeps leaving this out. Hope htis Helps
They will not do it cuz you are supposed to be a registered reseller. If you are not tax exempt, you may include the sales tax estimate to your cost. Hope this helps.
Since not every supplier charges us tax, simply add 10% to your source price. For example, if the product costs $10 and you know you'll pay tax, update your source price to $11.

You can take these extra fees into consideration when setting your break-even settings on AutoDS. 👌
