Weird news:
Episode 328, Kurama of Naruto Shippuden is actually 329, Two-Man team. 328 has been flagged for copyright and taken down. We were unaware of this this morning when these episodes were posted. This (copyright) has been an ongoing issue especially since we are getting to the good stuff.
We have decided to keep 327+329 up for today and post 328+330 next week on UA-cam. It's a little weird and we hope this isn't too much of an inconvenience. We will remind you all again next Wednesday.

I remember when this chapter of the manga came out, I was still in my home country Nigeria. I and my mates were all huddled in the computer room in school because wifi was strongest there. Our computer teacher was so flabbergasted to come in and see dozen of teenage boys crying and hugging each other. Best development ever. Kurama & Naruto.

It's so cool to see people remember what they were doing and where they were when a special chapter/ episode to them came out! I remember being in my old house, I was feeling nervous because I was about to start my first year of high school. I couldn't wait for Thursdays because that meant that it was time for a new Naruto Shippuden episode, and when I watched this one in particular, I felt very emotional and happy to see Naruto and Kurama finally working together :') Now we are watching other people experience this amazing anime and see how happy they are, the same as we were when we saw it the first time ^-^

One thing you guys missed about the DBZ reference besides Son Goku and Roshi, is that the Tailed Beast is the 4-Tails, and the 4-Star ball had special significance to Goku and his family.

What’s funny is that we’ve ALL been calling Shukaku by his name the entire time. Even the Sand Village knew enough to call him by his name before referring to him as 1 Tail.
That's a good point lol. We knew Shukaku had a name and everyone referred to him by his name, but it never occurred to us that Kurama might have one too. I wonder if the other tailed beasts were upset that the entire sand village refers to Shukaku by name
It was a different understanding of the tailed beast concept back then at the time. Just thought it was what it was I guess. Idk

Thats retconning for you. Kishi didn't think tailed beasts were going to be an expanded upon concept so he never intended for shikaku to the the 1 tails.
didn't Shukaku already have a perfect jinchuriki before, that one monk who's name started with the letter B?
I love the fact that Kakashi called Naruto Sensei. I find it kinda cool that the insect tail beast was a larvae in the flashback.
I like how this episode shows Kurama's power level compared to the other Tail beasts. Remember Naruto only has half of Kurama in him taking on Five.
Kurama clearly is the strongest but they are all considerably weakened and being puppeteered so this wasn’t any where near their full strength u see more of there strength later when they actually fight madara when he comes back to life

I love this episode so much, Kurama & all the other tail beast accepting Naruto as the reincarnation of their “father” the Sage of Six Paths. They all accept him and decided to help him.
On top of that, Kurama seeing Sage of Six Paths in Naruto 🥲
And Kakashi mistaking Naruto as Minato 😭 perfection
This was such a hype moment in the manga. Though this would be the second time Naruto releases the seal of his own volition, it's for an entirely different purpose. Naruto finally cooperates with the beast that's made him an outcast and caused him so much turmoil for so many years. Kurama finally willing to put his trust in a human. No longer seen as a burden or source of power but as an equal to his jinchuuriki host. The golden form and coat look absolutely sick.
I miss the horns. I hate how he no longer has them because he cut his hair when he got older. The transformation has always felt incomplete after that.
The change in hair and loss of jacket does bug me about the adult him
This was the his best form for me.. Those thick black outlines plus the long coat.. he almost looked like the sage of the six paths.. especially here 10:39

The Next EP has a beautiful song at the very starting of the episode, I hope we will get to see those. And if we did, i am betting on Rana that she'll love that song the most. Eagerly waiting for Next EP
Matatabi, Isobu, Son Goku, Kokuo, Saiken, and Chomei all gave Naruto a small part of their chakra, yes. And the tailed beasts are chakra constructs, so what they did is give him a small part of themselves. Given what's currently become of the rest of them, it could thus be said that Naruto is the jinchuriki of all of them plus Kurama,. That being said, he does not have any chakra from Shukaku or Gyuki, so he's not quite able to be the bridge between all nine like the Sage was.
Man, the soundtrack on this episode is fire 🔥! That six path and tails beast backstory always brings tears to my eyes. The emotions, the feelings, the power, the nostalgia, the cuteness of seeing them so innocent.
The power kurama as is only half of it!!! Man when it regains it’s full power 🤩🤩

I'm too big a fan of DB. The 4 tail beast being named Son Goku, and the Jinchuriki being named Roshi, that was enough to make them my favorite of the Jinchuriki duos.

Its moments like this that shake me to the core i can't explain it but no other anime compairs to these Naruto moments for me i just love it!
Its such a weird concept to acutally feel, half of your soul is separated and locked away (Kurama is not 100% he's 50% since 4th Hokage separated half of his soul to make it bearable to let the baby handle the Chakra)
This is one of my favourite episodes of anime ever. Literally one of the only moments that will always give me chills no matter how many times I see it. The years of build up, music sync, animation and emotional payoff all at their peak 🔥

Nope. naruto music is god damn briliant when it comes to emotional moments, hype moments, and even action moments. Even if the last one is not as good as Bleach action moments OST, the rest is vastly superior to Bleach.

I cried when I first watched Naruto's new transformation the way the show animated made me feel some kind of way. Also the part where Kurama is tiny and crying always gets me so good T__T

I love the DBZ references when I first saw this episode too. Actually Dragon Ball GT ended and a couple of years later Naruto strated, so they werent airing at the same time.
Also I think what the sage means by "different names and forms" is that the 9 bijuu used to be one and then they got split each having there form and name.

This episode is always one of my favs throughout the whole series
One of the greatest Naruto episodes hands down. I remember reading this sequence in the manga the day it came out. Chapter 570 ended right when Naruto opens the gate for Kurama, and the hype for the next chapter was *INSANE,* everyone who was up-to-date with the manga at the time was *super* excited for what's next. Then came chapter 571 titled "Bijuu Mode!!" and it was absolutely glorious. Definitely top 5 manga chapters for me personally.

It's funny, here in France, there's a 15 to 20 years gap between DB/DBZ and Naruto, so the competition is more a generational thing, guys in their 40s/50s are more rooting for Dragon Ball, and acts like boomers when it's about Naruto and guys in their 20s/30s for Naruto I guess, though there were always and there still is reruns of DBZ, so the younger generations also had DBZ, and the kids now still have both, but I don't remember there was so much debate among kids of the same age who grew up in the late90s/2000s, it applies to the mangas and the anime adaptations of course.
Yeah I watched dbz as a kid but most of it were reruns, I literally grew up with Naruto
