you gotta read the level descriptions too, there's actually a story. and they also tell you what you're meant to do in the level since sometimes you need to possess a unit and do something with it. You *can* still beat the levels without doing those objectives but you're kinda meant to play along

Play more of these levels!! They eventually move away from straightforward fights and turn into story-based missions and cool minigames!
Here's a combo that wins every level: 1 divine arbiter, a halfling or two as distractions, and as many cheerleaders as possible. Orbital destruction.

If you want a strategic advantage, they added health bars that differ in size based on how much more or less health the enemy and your units have. This way you can tell how close a battle truly is and see where hidden enemies are.
I legit looked this up, the closest thing to a pointy stick movement is either grookey or timbur

Beside the Reaper, there is two groups of 4 Candleheads, with 2 groups of 5 Vampires (almost on the egde. As well there are two Necromancers on either side in front of the Reaper, and an inverse pattern of 10 Skeleton Archers to the 10 Vampires. To top it all off there is a Swordcaster, with 2 Banshee's on either side of him, under the bridge in front of the Shattered Door..
