I do call 8 pins (9 pins for lefties) bad breaks. When i leave them, i say the shot was too perfect, because you have to have just the right amount of entry angle/board, speed, and drive from the ball to leave them.
I would also say that if this ball is too early out of box, it would probably be really good with some lane shine.
