Goggles4U is a SCAM 🚨 Awful company DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Order never got delivered and you can only chat with a rep (NO PHONE NUMBER). Still no glasses and they kept my money! Chinese Company, they blamed customs and post office. Awful customer service chat

How many days it took to ship the glasses? It seem that their manufacture is in thailand and pakistan.
yeah bought my glasses online paid 38 dollars for them vs 3 to 5 hundred Dollars at the dr. office. so easy and so much more affordable too.

What lenses did you get with those glasses...High Index 1.61, High Index. 1.67, High Index 1.74, etc.?
Do goggle4u only go up to -12?
It seems they don't do 1.74 index at the moment :( I even asked the costumer service. Other website for high prescription glasses you recommend? I live in Italy but I can buy from US companies if they send
I'm quite sure Zenni Optical goes up to -20.00 and offers 1.74 lens thickness as well.

Thank you for this video! I’m -8.5 and-10.5. The worst I’ve been is -11. I’ve only known one other person who has eyes as bad as me, so it’s nice to know I’m not alone. You’re beautiful! I was wondering if you could help me with something. My eye doctor is having a hard time finding contacts that are comfortable (don’t stick to my eye making it hard to get them out) and go to a -10.5 prescription. I was wondering what kind of contacts you wear? Thanks so much, again!
I wear the Biofinity contact lenses, and they go up to -12!! I have been wearing these for few years already and I’m the happiest with them out of anything else I tried! But you know, everyone’s eyes are different…but overall they have such a good reviews!

I’m -8 and -9,5. I wear the Acuvue Oasys 1 day ( pricey but they are super comfortable)
we have the same prescription but no matter how thin i get them, i still cant see unless the lense in oush up against my eyeballs, so basically contacts lol
If you are buy online make sure that you have the correct pupilary distance in, sometimes that offset in the glasses and having the bend in the wrong place can really mess up your prescription and make the glasses useless,so I would check on that maybe. If it isn't that, your glasses maker might be an idiot
@@giantmess4335 I only buy in person never bought online and never from the same person. I medically need contacts bc every optometrist says glasses are a no for my eye sight.

You can get thinner than 1.74 but it's not really worth it depending on your prescription
As a former optician I'm really not a fan of contacts lenses. But for someone with such poor eyesight contacts are a safer option to wear when out in public. But you should wear glasses whenever you're in the safety of your own home. At -12.00 / -13.00 you really aren't able see much of anything without your glasses or contacts. So if your glasses were to get knocked off your face You would be unable to see where they landed and very vulnerable. Has anything like that ever happened to you where someone either snatched your glasses from you as a joke or had someone accidently knock your glasses off? Contacts generally stay on your eyes pretty well these days. I'm 74 and very well remember when contacts first came out. You only got one pair and they were designed to last for long periods of time. They were hard lenses and they were prone to popping off the eye. So it became rather common for, usually a young woman, them pop off while dancing. Suddenly you had 50 or more people down on hands and knees feeling around for the lost contacts lens. The reason I'm not a fan of contacts is because when you work as an optician you see so many contact wearers coming in with contact lens problems. Generally eye infections were at the top of the list and then came eye ulcers as a close second. Those are problems that glasses will never be the cause of. I'm fine with contacts for things like playing sports or working out and special occasions. several of the girls in our store would switch from their glasses to contacts for playing softball. They played on our company sponsored team. Your new glasses from "Goggles4U" look really nice on you. You are really a very attractive young lady and you look just as attractive wearing glasses. Maybe even slightly more attractive wearing glasses. As you may know glasses have really become a must have for women of all ages as a really nice fashion accessory. If you've been into any boutiques recently you may have noticed they have several racks of really cute fake glasses. Trust me, if they weren't selling quite a few pairs they wouldn't have those racks taking up valuable floor space.
Has your eyesight stopped changing yet or slowed down? Generally speaking most peoples eyesight stops changing in their early to mid mid twenties. I'm sure you're hoping that's going to happen soon if it hasn't already happened. Do you mind me asking you, when did you first get glasses? I'm thinking you were likely very young. 1.9 lenses are usually made of glass, while others are made of resin
@@younglee157 I believe you're correct. Glass lenses are no longer being made and used for glasses here in the US. Glass lenses are dangerous because glass can shatter and could cut your eye if something were to hit the lens of your glasses.
@@StyleKarolina Even though I can fully appreciate your need for wanting the thinnest lens option possible in your glasses, this lens option is a glass lens and would come with a risk factor. If something were to hit one of your lenses it could shatter and break cutting your eye.
