Thank you for your answer I live in Orlando Florida I have general question about a husband and wife non resident with houses as investors here in Florida both names on the titles of the houses, the husband passed away last November any taxes applicable to the wife even though her name on the titles? I will appreciate your opinion in the matter
Yes, U.S. estate tax will likely be due. This can be quite complex to navigate and standard estate taxation can be modified if there is an applicable estate tax treaty between the U.S. and your country of residence. The best way for me to assist you would be for you to schedule a consultation with me. You can do so by emailing us at info@esquiregroup.com. Thanks!
I would need more information to answer this definitively. That said, as long as the only owner of the LLC is a single foreign company, the same should hold true.
This is gold man.
Thanks!

HOW IS A FOREIGN NON GRANTOR TRUST TAXED ON LIQUIDATING DISTRIBUTIONS FROM A US CORPORATION
This should generally not be subject to tax.
But what if the foreign company is the owner of the LLC with 2 members (partnership) ?

@@esquiregroup the LLC has two members that are non USA residents
Then it would be partnership.
